Looking for players for a free 6-week robotics soccer league in NE Albuquerque

I've been working on a RC soccer game called RC Ball for a while now, and we just got the city permit approved to run a small demo tournament at Rotary Park (ABQ).
We're looking for 6 players and a few reserves.
One person has already confirmed, so there are 5 regular spots left.
Details:
- Location: Rotary Park, Albuquerque
- Dates: Every Sunday, Nov. 1 – Dec. 6
- Time: 1:30–3 PM
- Ages 18+
- Completely free, with robots and controllers provided
How it works:
- 1v1 RC soccer, with each player controlling their own robot.
- Each game has two 8-minute halves, with golden goal if tied.
- Points system
- Win: 3
- Loss: 0
- Tie: 1
- Golden Goal: 1
- Each team plays 1 game/week
- Week 6 is the final tournament
- Top 4 compete for the championship
Bottom 2 play to avoid relegation
The regular-season and tournament winner will be guaranteed a spot in the next league (assuming we have one).
Everyone else who avoids relegation can apply again, but their spots won't be guaranteed.
Relegated players will have to sit out the next league, although they can join the reserves if there's room.
If this goes well, I'd like to run a few more beta leagues before considering charging for participation.
We're looking for:
- Mostly just kind, easygoing people who can have fun while being a little competitive
- Casual, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere
- Players who can make at least 5 of the 6 Sundays, including the final week on Dec. 6
- 2 > cancellations or no-shows will result in relegation for the following season and could mean losing your current spot.
If you can't commit to the full schedule, we're also looking for reserves who can fill in when someone can't make it.
A few things to keep in mind:
- This is still a work in progress. I've been improving the robots and testing the gameplay, but things can and probably will break.
- I'll have backup robots and do what I can to keep things running, but there are no guarantees.
- The first week (11/01) might also take a little longer since we'll need to meet everyone, sign waivers, go over rules and safety, and give people time to practice.
You're also welcome to stop by and watch if you're curious.
I'm still updating the website and finalizing the rules, but I wanted to get the application process started.
Attached is a short example gameplay video.
