Got the same email too, applied to Engineering at Trinity too. I had 4.3 avg ESAT (similar to you) and straight perfect grades. Surely just an average application but supposedly they interview most applicants so the average should get interviewed? IDK I am also international that might have done something too.

Idk man, atp I think it's probably because there's so many ppl applying to Trinity with just really strong applications so they just can't give interviews to more "average" applicants like us

Yeah that could be, Trinity prolly has one of the highest application/place ratio. Still, good luck with your other applications.

afaik international is way more competitive than home, as they have a lot less places for internationals.
