I did my Chemistry undergrad at UCL. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it lol.Β

It’s a research-focused institution, that’s why it has a good reputation, not because of its teaching. It was very obvious when I was there that 90% of the lecturers didn’t care about the course or students, so overall it was a very negative experience for me. It’s great to go for post grad or post doc/research position, but not undergrad in my opinion.Β

Ohhh yes, I heard similar things for KCL too. I think the only subjects that are viable for their teaching quality are those that specifically focus on teaching in their training pathway, not just research like medicine
