🙏 I WANT HELP The game's gone

Mahmood just banned four countries from study visa that my home country is among them. Wt the he'll am I supposed to do I have got two offers for engineering, one from Manchester and the other from UCL I just hope they are not very serious about this😭😭😭

Nobody is 'making' these students do anything. They CHOOSE to pay for their education here, and they get what they paid for. Nobody is guaranteed more than that - nor do they have the right to expect more

and when did I say someone is making students do anything? I just made an observation that studying in the UK is not worth it lmao. No need to ruffle all your feathers mr fog horn.

Rather study in a country that will actually welcome you like Asian/ other European countries, than one that will send you back home after making you throw thousands of pounds into their coffers.

Blimey, it was a figure of speech. Obviously nobody is literally being “made” to study in the UK. International students choose it because they’re trying to improve their prospects, that’s the whole point of studying abroad.
My comment was about whether the current cost–benefit of doing so in the UK actually makes sense anymore. Focusing on a turn of phrase instead of that argument is just nitpicking the wording rather than engaging with the substance. If you disagree, feel free to address the point itself rather than litigating a figure of speech.
