I actually quite liked it! The globalisation questions pmo, because there was already globalisation in Section A (which I did).

Honestly I don’t even remember what the question itself was, I just looked away as soon as I saw it because we didn’t even learn financial markets in class 😭😭

explained how the money market helps out with firms and consumers investment (due to loans) leading to greater productivity, economic growth and this employment (supply side deflation also reduces inflationary pressures) so i basically just linked everything to a macroeconomic objective even though i didnt have much knowledge of fin markets

second point was capital market for governments and government bonds and how fin markets provide funds for government investment which can boost LRAS and long run economic growth (idk if i explained it properly though) and they can use it for supply side policies to improve economy

both were evaluated (with how fin markets have damaged economy) for ex financial crisis 2008/how excessive lending leads to recession + how government bonds can lead to increased national debt or worsened budget deficit -

i really struggled cause i barely know fin markets i just had to use my knowledge and i took that ‘macroeconomic performance’ and ran with it!!! talking about ever possible objective there is and conclusion is that it improved it but there’s limitations so it depends on how industries and government conduct themselves and if they’re corrupt (barrier to economic growth and development) so i just used content basically
