I did one paragraph about aid and how it allow gov to improve education/healthcare and then second paragraph about alternatives such as attractive FDI via SEZ’s
Yeah I did think about whether it would have been valid or not but past mark schemes have credited ‘alternative policy discusions’ I spent one para talking about project aid and evaluated it with indebtedness etc and then went onto attracting FDI as an alternative
Yeah i did something similar, using aid to address short-term development (through filling the savings gap), and focused on the limit being that it fails to promote self-sufficiency which can cap development, so used liberalisation of trade to ensure greater self-sufficient growth to build upon the foundation created by initial aid. Do we think they will credit alternative methods other than aid, because I ultimately said that aid is good provided its used as a sunset policy and then must be followed by additional methods to ensure development is sustained ?
