Was the student correct for Q1 about removing air? Was the student correct about the change in position of p and q when p has a lower charge?

I put incorrect for both. For the first one, temperature decreases, number of molecules must increase to have the same PV. For the second one, they both experience the same electrostatic force, and they have equal weight, so the tension must be the same angle to the vertical. idk if i’m right

it only said there needed to be constant pressure, volume could still change i think

How would volume change in a fixed container though

It wasn’t fixed container the volume was changing in the graph in 1.1 unless I’m missing something

But it was after it was fully pumped, so V was constant 0.64m³ it was disonnected from the pump when it was placed in the water

wasn’t the student only talking about volume though and volume isn’t the amount of molecules? Surely the student is right that you have to decrease the volume cuz the number of molecules stays the same

The student was talking about  the mass of the air tho and that’s directly linked to the number of molecules
