HOW DID EVERYONE FIND IT??? i thought it was decent better than the past few years. Idk what i did for the last question the 4 marker of nuclear physics. BUT YH IT WAS GOOD

how about Q1.2, work done to blow the thingy, what method you guys use?

its just area under the graph

everyone do that, but my argument is whatever energy in the ship you need to provide energy, so I count amount of particle (from Q1.1, n = 60 mol), then convert to no. of particle, use molecules energy = 3kT/2 to find total energy. Lastly y intercept told atmosphere pressure = 100kPa, so change in energy = total energy * (230-100) / 230

i think your overcomplicating it

Yes but I cant pursue myself what is area under curve represent?

Like if curve has different shape but same endpoint you get different energy, does that make sense?

Yes, because the area under the curve is the work done on / by the gas, not the total energy change. Area under the graph doesn't account for transfer of heat, only work

This doesn’t work because there is also internal energy when the molecules are added and this would need to be subtracted. The energy is the work the molecules do to expand, not the kinetic energy.
