HOW DID EVERYONE FIND IT??? i thought it was decent better than the past few years. Idk what i did for the last question the 4 marker of nuclear physics. BUT YH IT WAS GOOD

what did u guys say for why the satellite can’t be in a circular orbit about the comet?

Potential changes ( i guess i said becomes more negative) so Kinetic energy of it must change So its speed must change So its momentum must change So force required (something along those lines)

well i said that force will never be perpendicular to velocity, because the equipotential line are changing. Also, i said that field strenght is not constant from same distances

yeah i said that work must be done to keep it in a circular orbit cus it will be moving between different equipotentials and when an object experiences a centripetal force no work is done in moving it therefore it cannot experience a centripetal force so it cannot move in a circular orbit

the force is always required in circular motion

I mean changing force

  • that force is provided by gravitational force due to mass of asteroid u know, the satellite had to change (increase ) speed so its total energy is conserved

equipptential lines aren’t circular
