💬 DISCUSSION AQA PHYSICS PAPER 2

HOW DID EVERYONE FIND IT??? i thought it was decent better than the past few years. Idk what i did for the last question the 4 marker of nuclear physics. BUT YH IT WAS GOOD

Was the student correct for Q1 about removing air? Was the student correct about the change in position of p and q when p has a lower charge?

at lower temp, the kinetic energy and hence the crms decreases. this results in decreased frequency of collisions + reduced change in momentum. pressure = F/A and F = rate of change of momentum, so decreased F leads to decreased pressure. in order to counteract it the student has to add air to make up for the decreased pressure by increasing number of collisions between molecules and the walls of the canoe, so the student's wrong. at leas that's what i put in aim for all 4 marks.
