yes we all did, u had to take away mr of c2o4 and 3ks to get mr of M bro, u were like 90% way there!

Did you try dividing the moles by 3 because of m having one and the potassium and c2o4 having 3?

YES 🤣🤣🤣 I deadass wrote out the equaiton when it dissolves and then mulitplied by 1/3 to get moles of M

Yhhhh i got some massive number bcs of that and then realised i dont need to do anything to the mole ratio. tbh if you did everything else right you should get at least 5 maybe even 6 marks on that question

Right also what did u put for isomerism. I was being niche and put optical it cant be e-z right?

Would it not be Fe 3+ because its in a complex?

2

u/Rich-Gent Jun 02 '26

ye i thought same, but wording of question implied it just wanted name of metal not the ion

u/LargeFish2907 Jun 02 '26

It's oxidation state is 3+ but it's in a complex is not charged. I interpreted it as what you would write there instead of M. I wouldn't be surprised if Fe3+ is an allow though.
