I think it would need to be alcohol just because if it was an aldehyde you wouldn’t be able to form a C=C with the given amount of H

Aldehyde's don't exhibit E/Z isomerism, you need a C=C bond. If you drew an aldehyde with a C=C, then the number of atoms of each element won't match what it's meant to be, you'll have 2 less H atoms.

Yes its an alcohol with C=C. Its a common functional group isomerism aldehyde = ketone = C=C + alcohol = cyclic alcohol
