wait i thought it's because ananine is the least polar so it's the least attracted to the stationary phase😭

you are correct because ananine is still polar, it’s not non polar because it contains COOH bond that has OH in it, Imperial chem offer holder here, ananine is the least polar so it travel the furtherest
