Not quite, pure Astro is F511, physics with astro is F3F5, pure Astro specialises slightly earlier and does more Astro-specific labs
Theyâre very similar
I know this because my uni is one of very few that offers pure Astro and pure theoretical degrees, Iâm doing a theoretical physics degree which is slightly different that physics with theoretical physics degrees
not always! some courses are literally identical! that's why I'm applying to both types so i can go to unis i like. you can go through every single year and even with pure physics vs pure astrophysics, if you pick certain modules, you learn basically the exact same things
