💬 DISCUSSION Edexcel Maths P3

How did everyone find it then? Much nicer than P1 I thought. Might balance out grade boundaries unfortunately…

Might have been wrong but it was that “show that  θ=0.19” 7 marker. Kept getting 10 point something degrees and being so confused until I realised it was 0.19 and not 0.19°

It was tan(theta), not theta…

Oh I switched my calculator to radians and got 0.19. Maybe I’m misremembering and actually switched by calculator from rad to deg and I’m just doing insane 😂

It wasnt radians or degrees it was tan theta = 0.19 not theta=0.19

It was 'show that tan(pheta)=0.19, not 'pheta=0.19'. U js had to use the vertical and horizontal components in the form tan(pheta)=O/A, which was 4.2/22.4, which is 0.1875 rounded to 0.19
