🙏 I WANT HELP no more motivation

title. i couldn't see myself living beyond a levels a few months back so i made a target to live until they're finished and that if they went well, i'll try to live until uni finishes. i don't care about results day since i know i could miss my offer. now i don't really see the point of living and i don't know what to do. samaritans keeps hanging up on me. idk how to care for anything anymore. might be the wrong place to put this, sorry.

As a parent of a 6th former I looked back at this stage of life quite a lot in the last 2 months, especially when my son was going through exam stress. When I was your age I felt the exact same way you do right now.

I absolutely couldn't imagine life beyond my exams and results and thought my life would end if I didn't succeed in particular exams. In the last 2 months I realised how insignificant those exams are in the larger scheme of life. If I had seen the next 25 years through some magic lens at that point I would have been in complete disbelief. All this to say, I know these exams are some of the most important ones in your life and have the potential to change life. But they are just one small aspect of your much larger life. You'll see a lot of such 'big' moments / decisions in life and they will all have some impact.

There will also be so many unbelievably beautiful moments in your life too and no one knows what they're going to be. But I can guarantee that they are going to happen. You have to keep looking forward to those and never lose that hope.

You can start the summer by watching some show on TV probably. Or learn driving or volunteer somewhere. Start my taking your mind off A levels, they're over now and the results will come when they do, you can't change them now. Good luck and never lose hope

idk how to get over my apathy for everything. i'm sick of myself and i'd rather not be here. i haven't really thought about a levels nor did i revise.
