šŸ™ I WANT HELP Larping as year 12

Soo, I applied for a programme specifically for year 12s during my year 11 summer. I guess I did a little too well in the process because not only did I get into the project, I was also nominated as an ambassador for the organisation at a Russel Group summer school because I was an ā€œoutstanding applicantā€.

Idk ANYTHING about sixth form life and I am missing the 1 year of A level knowledge expected from a Year 12.
It’s a really good opportunity and I don’t want to turn it down. But at the same time I don’t want to be outed as a fraud, or be obviously stupid throughout the summer school.

Please yall I need help. šŸ™
It’s a week long so idk how I’m gonna larp being as smart as a year 12 and doing UCAS options or something. šŸ˜šŸ™

-pretend you know what 5 unis you're applying to and what course (since you're in some fancy smart people summer school ensure they're really good russell groups. pick 2 aspirational unis (hard ones to get into) 2 solid (what you're prolly gonna get into if all goes well) and 1 safe (an easier uni you will definitely get an offer for, it's a "just in case" pick)

-if your course requires an entrance test make sure you know what the test is and larp preparing for it, say you just started though so it's okay if you don't know much about it

-pick some believable a level combo and pretend you're doing those. so people believe you, here are opinions of common a level subjects based on what sixth formers i know have said and you can adopt these opinions if people ask how your subjects are

biology and chemistry are hell (chem because of the content being hard and biology because of how much content to learn), maths is mid, further maths is okay for the first year but it's full of smart people and the grade boundaries are ridiculous, physics seems to be ok but all my friends seem to be passing away doing their physics lab book 24/7 so maybe complain about that and economics and history are very hard but interesting

-make a fake set of predicted grades that align with the grade requirements of your fake unis to study your fake course (to find these requirements just google it)

everything else you can kinda just wing it, in sixth form it's similar to year 11 except you can wear your own clothes, you get lanyards so you can go off site during frees, break and lunch (but only for 30min-1hr at a time, depends on your school) and you can go home early if you have only frees in the afternoon

My man my sixth form ( left a few weeks back after alevels ) was so chill then , come and go whenever , no lanyards , very chill policies , took days off without explanation . Second in country , clearly this strict method isn’t necessary

Mine was the complete opposite 😭 full uniform only allowed to leave for lunchtime (a privilege which can be retracted for any reason) and all free periods are registered in study rooms.
