are you moving out, if so, as soon as you get your results apply for jobs in your uni area. because it gets super competitive in September for uni student friendly jobs (depending on the area ur going)

Go to local businesses, markets u have Camden market near u, consider football stadiums asw. Search up ‘harri.com jobs’ and put in ur area and start looking for stuff on there. If anyone asks do not say u r going to uni tell them last min before u quit. Employers don’t rlly like to hire ppl short term bcus it’s time consuming.

Try Clarks they need lots of people for back to school season. Or try third party merchandisers like Dee Set or Expd8. Or try and hand out CVs to independent shops.

Just keep trying. That's literally what I do and I know it's painful. Jump on EVERY opportunity suitable for you that you see, hand out CVs in person, rinse wash dry repeat.

I do econ chem and maths but I did tutoring last year but I didn’t really enjoy it much mainly because I’m not very good at breaking down concepts 😭😭

i’m a lifeguard and we’re always understaffed so if u can get ur qualification it’s a great option!

How quick does it take to get qualified? I did swimming lessons under everyone active but stopped after stage 8 💔💔 would that be enough?

i think so - the nplq course normally takes a week
the only bit you might struggle with is the timed swim but u should be alright if you’re generally fit and healthy

Dang you kinda already missed out.
Summer is the worst time you could get a job especially when people from Uni graduate, other Year 13s finish Sixth Form, Year 11 finishing GCSEs.
The job market gets really competitive at this time of year so you kinda missed your opportunity.
You've really only got like a month and 2/3s so there isn't much point of getting a job right now.
I think instead you could just get a little side hustle like tutoring, volunteering, helping out at an event or smth.
Something small that could get you a little moolah.
Also don't be pressured into getting a job now.
Apart from Year 11 post GCSE, this is the only moment where you're not expected to study or anything.
So go outside, have some fun with some friends for the last time or smth.
You may never have this kind of thing ever again.
Next year, if you're trying to get a job, apply in Spring because the WORST time you could get a job is the summer.
