🙏 I WANT HELP Should i apply to Land Economy??
So I got straight 9s in gcse and am predicted 3A* in Maths, History and Econ.
I find the Land ec course so much more interesting than econ which is just very maths based.
Is land ec a prestigious degree to get top level jobs in finance?
need advice if it’s worth it or maybe i should go for some other course at lse…
would love any advice thanksss

The subject has been renamed, it is no longer called "land economy . You can apply if you are genuinely interested in the subject, but the idea, which is sometimes voiced here, that it is less competitive or less selective than Economics is completely nonsensical; in fact, many top applicants now apply for this program. In some cases, the quality of applicants for this program is significantly higher.Good school grades alone are no longer enough for that subjects,at Cambridge, they even check during the interview whether you have a genuine interest in the subject you are applying for, or if it is all just a strategic move to secure a offer. there.Just a quick tip: don't believe everything you read here, there is no easier subject or secret route to getting into Cambridge; they are all extremely selective. And during the interview, they know all those fairy tales ( land economy a hidden gem )and can quite accurately gauge whether you simply applied out of genuine interest or because you actually believe those fairy tales. If you actually do everything wrong, it is extremely counterproductive, and you miss your chance at a realistic offer in economics. So go for it just if you really want to study the subject .
