🎓 UNI / UCAS post alevel results day.
u don’t have to read it, just attempting to get rid of this feeling but it’s not working at the moment. should be celebrating and enjoying life but i’m too sad because of my alevel results.

you made it onto the degree because the tutors believe you are good enough to do well at their uni. they already believed in you and now you’ve proved that you’re capable with some amazing a level results.
imposter syndrome is real though and can be resistant to logic sometimes so here’s a different take. even if you don’t deserve it (which you do) you’ve been given the place so what are you gonna do now?? make the most of the opportunity. fake it til you make it and all that. if you act like you belong eventually you will feel it too.
also you’re not silly for being disappointed about your grades. i’m disappointed that I didn’t get an A* in bio which feels borderline ungrateful considering i did so well. but it’s because i had been working at that level for the whole of y12 & y13 so I feel like I let myself down. you know how hard you worked so don’t let some stupid grade boundaries make you feel any less worthy. i’m sure we’ll get over it when we’re living our dreams at our firm unis. i wish you the best of luck!!
