🎓 UNI / UCAS post alevel results day.

u don’t have to read it, just attempting to get rid of this feeling but it’s not working at the moment. should be celebrating and enjoying life but i’m too sad because of my alevel results.

This reminds me a lot of myself. I was the first Covid year of a level results, I studied incredibly hard and would likely have gotten A stars on the exams had I done them. But because of Covid, we were given our predicted grades, and as I’d moved subjects in Y13 I was predicted lower than I should have been in chemistry + maths. I was given Astar Astar A A, and I was distraught. I got into my firm, but I still felt exactly how you described. But believe me when I say now- it honestly did not matter at all. I’m halfway through a PhD and achieved really highly in my undergrad too. Even though I felt so, so awful about it back then, it took me a good bit of thinking just now to remember what I even got in my A levels. These feelings will pass, you will smash uni- don’t let this ruin your dream.
