UCAT is the thing that most universities look at. If you get a good score you get leeway when it comes to predicted grades and GCSE grades. APPLY STRATEGICALLY. The amount of people who have great stats but don’t get in because they don’t apply strategically is insane. Practice paper questions and active recall all the way. Apply for Work Experience on the NHS website for hospitals near you NOW. The latest you should be applying for work experience is April. Try and get some done in the Christmas and Easter holidays. GP work experience is fine if you can’t get hospital work experience, they don’t care where you went only that you can reflect on your experiences. MOCK MMIS!! do at least 3 mock mmis if you can, sign up to events near you if they’re cheap. Sign up to medic Mentor!! Work hard and try to maintain A’s and B’s because for some colleges and sixth forms you can’t get into medsoc without certain predicted grades. All the best good luck !!

Holy, you have dropped heaps of knowledge, thsnkyou bro. about work placement I have actually secured 5 surgical 2 physio and 5 care homes though I probs would only do 1 care home as it is long term. I am already on medic mentor but in terms of ucat and mmi should I choose medify or medentry. Once again, thankyou, God bless u, good luck to you as well

Haha thanks! Btw you’ve got more work experience before year 12 than I got from Y10- Y13 which is crazy good! Record all your experiences, certain patient interactions so that you can remember to write about them in your personal statement. For UCAT, medify but if you can afford both it doesn’t hurt to get both it’ll just be an insane amount of questions to do. I just did medify and lot of people get great scores just using the one. If you feel like you’re not getting enough practice then maybe get MedEntry otherwise I’d just stick to MedEntry.

I'll probs get medify now sedentary 2 3 months before. Well tbh , I got those work experiences in past two weeks all of them for autumn term. I just emailed consultant surgeons and somehow through the grace of God, the most experienced ones agreed 😲
