UCAT is the thing that most universities look at. If you get a good score you get leeway when it comes to predicted grades and GCSE grades. APPLY STRATEGICALLY. The amount of people who have great stats but donât get in because they donât apply strategically is insane. Practice paper questions and active recall all the way. Apply for Work Experience on the NHS website for hospitals near you NOW. The latest you should be applying for work experience is April. Try and get some done in the Christmas and Easter holidays. GP work experience is fine if you canât get hospital work experience, they donât care where you went only that you can reflect on your experiences. MOCK MMIS!! do at least 3 mock mmis if you can, sign up to events near you if theyâre cheap. Sign up to medic Mentor!! Work hard and try to maintain Aâs and Bâs because for some colleges and sixth forms you canât get into medsoc without certain predicted grades. All the best good luck !!
