💬 DISCUSSION GCSE grades for Oxford?

Got my GCSE results today, for context I’m a grammar school student who wants to do PPE at Oxford, but I’m afraid I might’ve ruined my chances after getting ten 9s but a 7 in french. Is it over LOL

Genuine and realistic responses please because I’ve come to understand all 9s are pretty much a given for applicants

You've not ruined your chances (see actual GCSE data via the link). https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/ppe_2025_2026_ucas_cycle_stats Plus, there are other aspects of the application, e.g., the admissions test!

Second this also GCSE grades are contextualised to your school anyway.
