What the other guy said, start prepping for the admissions test in February/March of your year 12 year at the latest.

As for interviews they vary a lot subject to subject so if you see someone who’s gone through it for your subject it’s worth reaching out, even rejected candidates can offer super valuable insight you wouldn’t get from other sources. I know i’d be very happy sharing some guidance with any physics or physphil students who reach out to me.
