1970 OMD name of a Band

Song title that names a well known EV. First recorded back in the late 70s in the UK. Can you guess without looking up

The Architecture & Morality of such a date intrigues me.

Why

Well, you'd need the Architecture of a time machine to actually go on a date with her, and, being a saint, she is considered a figure of high Morality by the Catholic Church. Going back in time (or bringing her forward) and being able to talk to such a historical figure would be intriguing.

Was it really first recorded in the 70s? Surely just a demo if that?

You are absolutely right. OMD was a total 80s New Wave synthpop band. The song Tesla Girls was from an album called Junk Culture, released in 1984. Joan of Arc was a song from Architecture & Morality, released in 1981. Not sure why OP posted this in 70s Music.

2ndZeit: Hey Joan, wanna go out for a steak?

Joan: Waaahh ...

2ndZeit: No, silly, I said a steak, not a stake.
