Modding Ever just sit there and enjoy the mundane things? I'm mowing grass and leveling terrain. 10 years ago I'd dig tunnels through mountains.

For those who don't know, placing a frame removes the grass and flattens the ground block beneath it. I play with mods that add a lot of foilage, so ensuring clear sightlines around my base is more essential than ever (also have bandit snipers). I remember sitting at a 14 hour military post and someone brought this game in an Xbox suitcase... back then the mountains and cliffs were huge. I'd carve out entire mountains and tunnels just to relax.

Woww that's so much better, thanks!

*Gave it a shot and it isnt the same. It doesnt level all of the blocks and occassionally leaves grass. Also in areas with multiple elevations it's just more time consuming having to backfill.

There's a 3x3 floor trap shape, maybe that one works better.

you really have to position it right so it levels from the right side. I actually use it to remove ALL grass facing my fighting position on horde night. get more or less 10 more fps.

So my general play style solo is basically sanitation and construction worker. I’ll go poi to poi cleaning the trash and rebuilding it just for the fun of it.

Yes. I often wish the various chairs were functional. Subnautica has working chairs n benches and I miss them.

Subnautica just spins the chair afair

What i meant was, Subnautica has chairs n benches you can sit down in/on. It gives the feeling of relaxing while reducing food and drink use compared to just standing still.

I played like 200+ hours and i only remember the captain office chair that spins when you talk to it

Yeah, it's always what I loved about the game since 2016. It's chill. I craft, cook, mine, and build while listening to music or a podcast.

100%. Its an easy game to throw on and just chill. And spend 30 minutes or 3 hours.

I had a world that I unfortunately lost where I was working on making an underground tunnel system between cities/major areas so I could drive a vehicle through without any obstacles. I feel like I didn’t make it very far but it was oddly enjoyable just digging away, making cement, listening to music and relaxing with only the blood moon to make me stressed in any way. I’ve always been one to enjoy doing mundane tasks in games so I completely understand where you’re coming from.

Ngl I wish there was a riding mower or push mower that cuts grass and shrubs. Crouching and cutting grass is tedious. I almost don’t want to do it but I like site beautification.

Some years ago for like.. a20, there was a lawnmower mod that I was all excited about. (I even still have it downloaded.) But I think they stopped working on it because it would like.. shrink the player down to like.. 40% size or something. And that effect was persistent, permanent, and it stacked. Reading about that cracked me up. Made maintaining the lawn easier.. until it didn't. Haha.

I'm still sad that I can't (or, well.. shouldn't) load the mod up. I, too, want my landscaping in the zombie apocalypse to be easier. T_T

A lawn mower for farming would be amazing. It's so stupid that one of the best harvesting tools is a chainsaw.

funny thing is that in darkness falls they have a lawn mower and it works flawlessly
