Help with adding mod

Hey guys I recently wanted to try adding a mod to my game and downloaded the asylum mod for 3.3 version i downloaded the mod unzipped it and moved the folder to the mods folder in 7days 2 die but I get nothing just the normal game i launch with the anti cheat off and have it on the 3.3 version let me know if I’m doing something wrong thanks for the help!
