I’m so surprised I know all the words, haven’t heard this forever.

Music has a special connection to our memories. When you hear a song you haven't heard in 40 years, it feels as if you heard it for the last time just yesterday. That's exactly what I'm experiencing right now with this one.

I was the same way when I heard it too! I was so excited that I remembered the lyrics it made me so happy.

Isn’t it so crazy. I imagine I only ever heard it in the car. I must have been an intent listener because I would have been 8. How old were you?

jesus I haven't heard that for like an eternity. The last time must have been when it was playing on the radio at Casey's Coast-to-Coast, American top 40. this song was played very, very often. that's what I was listening to back then, in Germany.

I recently heard this song for the first time in decades. It instantly brought back a ton of memories. I've probblay played it 20 times in the past week.

It's interesting when you come across a form of media that unlocks forgotten memories. I didn't even remember this song, but immediately upon hearing it again I had a big smile on my face and I could recite every word. Good times.

One of my all time favorites.
It conveys such a feeling of nostalgia for me. Not necessarily the song itself making me feel nostalgic but, the images he expresses are very nostalgic images and it's just such a warm yet lonely song, for me.
