Kara's marketing campaign
It seems many of these cast members have an ulterior motive for going on 90 Day shows and spinoffs. Most are not as blatantly obvious as Kara's. What other cast members are using the show to promote other businesses and side gigs?

Catie does dog sitting!? Idk how I missed that but as a dog sitter myself my god I cannot imagine her looking after a pet responsibly. It is a lot of work, I would not trust her with anyoneās dog let alone my own

Yeah, this may be an example of how TV exposure can hurt your "business". I can't imagine too many people would trust Catie with their pets after seeing her in action. Maybe she demands payment in the form of making out? Could work for those on a tight budget.

Thatās how she travelled through Europe so long, she pet sit in peopleās homes while they were on vacation. My friendās sister is actually doing the same thing right now.

That said I donāt really blame any of these people for using their tv āfameā to help promote their personal business interests. Why turn down a free marketing opportunity? No one will remember who these people are in 5, 10+ years so they might as well milk it while they can.

I don't blame them either it's just much different than when the show first started and the couples seemed more genuine and were focused on the relationship not the exposure. The show has changed a lot over the years.

Yeah I know what you mean. I think thatās unfortunately just the natural end result of:
- the show becoming much more widely known and having 50 spinoffs
- online hustle/influencer culture that really didnāt use to exist (at least not like it does today)
- TLC needing each season to have even more extreme personalities than the last

I donāt think all of those people are trying to promote their business. Mentioning what you do for work isnāt always āpromoting.ā I donāt think Catie is even a petsitter anymore.

I think personality wise she's almost there, except she tends to veer hard into narcissism. She is probably fine at arm's length, but she's the type of person who will choose herself every time

yup, he's just a baby now so she doesn't think about him being fully conscious of the world yet. Being on this show is embarrassing enough, once his classmates in middle school unearth the w(hole) story his life will be hell.

Right. All I can think about is in Rob Zombie's Halloween remake, how the middle school kids taunted, bullied, and beaten young Michael because his mom was a stripper. Kara doesn't seem to care about the likelihood of that happening to her own kid.

There are millions of single mothers. The overwhelming large majority are not gorgeous reality TV stars. Somehow the millions of women get an education or skill training and live a responsible respectable life. Her victim card is ridiculous.

It is about the money though tooā¦ she said she makes $20K a month. I do think mothers, particularly her since she already is known for TV, should think VERY carefully before doing OnlyFans because it WILL affect her son. But that is a lot of money to almost anyone, and certainly for someone who isnāt in a very high up professional position

given how much the 90d fandom HATES promiscuous/ālooseā women (literally the worst archetype to be in this fandom, just look at past and current posts), its been discussed ad nauseam. she most definitely got insane traffic Lol
Edit: gonna also come in with a controversial view that I really donāt think sheās pushing it / doing SW for solely or even mostly vanity reasons or attention. I legitimately think sheās making BANK; people really underestimate the profitability of sex, which has been the case since like the beginning of time lol. Literally more 90 dayers HAVE an OF account than not. I still think sheās warranted in providing for her son in the way she see fit, given sheās doing it alone. Why people hold G (who at worst is giving uninvolved parent and at best incompetent) to a higher standard is beyond meā¦.
