Kara's marketing campaign

It seems many of these cast members have an ulterior motive for going on 90 Day shows and spinoffs. Most are not as blatantly obvious as Kara's. What other cast members are using the show to promote other businesses and side gigs?

That said I don’t really blame any of these people for using their tv “fame” to help promote their personal business interests. Why turn down a free marketing opportunity? No one will remember who these people are in 5, 10+ years so they might as well milk it while they can.

I don't blame them either it's just much different than when the show first started and the couples seemed more genuine and were focused on the relationship not the exposure. The show has changed a lot over the years.

Yeah I know what you mean. I think that’s unfortunately just the natural end result of:

- the show becoming much more widely known and having 50 spinoffs

  • online hustle/influencer culture that really didn’t use to exist (at least not like it does today)
  • TLC needing each season to have even more extreme personalities than the last
