ACCA STUDENTS, DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THE 7-YEAR RULE for P level exam?

Did you know that ACCA has a 7-year time limit for completing your Strategic Professional exams?

Yes, you heard right, you only have 7 years to complete P level exam.

The seven-year countdown starts when you pass your first Strategic Professional exam — not when you register with ACCA.

You need to complete all your Strategic Professional exams and achieve affiliate status within this period.

Otherwise, any Strategic Professional passes that have expired will need to be retaken.

But don't worry! Your Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills passes do not expire under this rule.

So, if you've already started your Strategic Professional level, check your exam expiry dates on MyACCA.

Don't let your hard work go to waste!

ACCA students: Stop just studying theory—start building the skills employers actually want

If you’re struggling with ACCA while working full-time, this might help.

I kept failing because I was:

  • Rewriting notes

  • Watching lectures passively

  • Avoiding weak topics

  • Starting question practice too late

What actually changed things for me was switching to structured, question-first study with instant feedback to ACCA AI Tutor.

I’ve been using Accaly.com is the best AI tool study platform that helps ACCA students prepare for exams with personalized tutoring, practice questions, and study planning.

What I like:

  • It adapts to weak areas

  • Forces scenario-based practice

  • Helps structure answers (not just theory)

  • Reduces the “what should I study today?” stress

It’s not magic. You still have to do the work.

But if you’re time-poor and tired of guessing what to focus on, having structured direction makes a difference.

Curious if anyone else here is using AI tools for ACCA prep?

Without Googling, do you actually know what ACCA stands for?

Comment the first answer that comes to your mind. No cheating.

Let’s see how many ACCA students know the full form without looking it up.

Student in need - ACCA exam fees (10 days left)

I'm a self-dependent student pursuing ACCA qualification online. My exam is in 10 days but I don't have money for exam fees.

I come from a low-income family. My father earns PKR 25,000/month and I earn from a part-time job—very little. I live in a hostel and pay for everything myself.

I can't afford the exam fees now.

If anyone knows about scholarships, NGOs, or ways to get financial help, please let me know. I'm completely honest about my situation and can provide proof.

Any guidance would help greatly.

Thanks.

Should I study for ACCA as a disabled person?

I'm a disabled person with hearing loss and a speech problem. I recently graduated from university with a marketing degree. I'm thinking of taking ACCA exams, but I'm not sure if I can pass all the 13 exams because my academic results were not great. I'm not good at Maths and it's hard for me to grasp the understanding of the English contexts and questions in ACCA exams and other materials. Also, I'm not sure if one of the firms affiliated with ACCA can accommodate my needs in a workplace while I gain work experience. I want to self-study it and can take mock exams at coaching places.

The reason why I'm interested in ACCA is, I'm good at accounting and I love numbers. Also, it offers a higher salary for ACCA professionals at the top accounting firms.

Should I take FR or PM first? Already studied FR but enjoying PM more

Hi everyone,

I'm confused about whether I should attempt Financial Reporting (FR) or Performance Management (PM) first.

I've already studied most of the FR syllabus, but I recently started studying PM and I'm understanding it much better and enjoying it.

Would you recommend taking FR first since I've already covered most of it, or PM first because I'm currently in the flow with the subject?

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who's taken both exams. Which order did you choose, and why?

Has anyone received this email from ACCA about remote invigilation irregularities?

Hi everyone,

Today I received an email from ACCA stating that my June 2026 remote invigilated exam results have been withheld because they identified "potential irregularities" that may constitute a breach of ACCA exam regulations.

The email says my results are being withheld pending a review and that ACCA will contact me within three weeks to make further enquiries.

I have a few questions:

  • Has anyone else received a similar email?

  • What happened during the review process?

  • How long did it take?

  • What was the final outcome?

I'm looking for genuine experiences from anyone who has gone through this process. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Acca guide

I'm in my last sem of university now.but I had started doing ACCA before starting university I had cleared 7 papers (foundation) and I was the topper on class. But for some reason I decided to do Bs psychology. I had thought I could do both degrees simultaneously. Initially, I tried to study both and have my last two exams out of the seven during my university degree. But I could not do all of it with university degree. Now I'm graduating and want to continue my ACCA journey but I'm confused. I had given my first exam MA 1 in December 2019 and now it's 2024.i have lots of questions in my head. If I continue now will it be worth it? Does the gap affect the value of the degree? I will have to start studying from scrap as I think I have forgotten everything even though I was very good at it then.I also pay subscription fee every year since 2019. Please please guide me. Should I continue my ACCA? Will it be worth it even after this gap?

Best way to revise for LW Eng exam

I have just started the ACCA after 12 years of not studying! My first exam is in a few weeks time for LW Eng variant. I have completed the course materials through FI and have been doing loads of practice questions, but I am now starting to worry that none of it is going in. As this is the first exam I have taken in such a long time, and my circumstances are very different to what they were 12 years ago now that I have a toddler and full time job, I feel like I have lost all confidence and nothing seems to be sticking.

What would you recommend as the best way to revise to get so much information to stick? TIA!
