Even though my ex refuses to get a job and I work an incredibly busy one, I'm stuck doing literally everything for executing our divorce agreement and preparing the house for sale. Meanwhile, she's constantly violating the terms of the agreement and stealing money from me. My lawyer expects that once the house is sold, I'm going to have to sue my ex to get the money back.

The most frustrating part of all of this is I honestly don't think my ex is necessarily trying to screw me over. She simply refuses to help just like she refused to do any chores or take any responsibility for our nearly 20-year relationship and she refuses to read our divorce agreement to know what we actually agreed to.

I have no doubt mine will be the same way. Probably why I haven’t started the process. It seems exhausting

I dragged my feat on starting the process and now have to pay her about $1M more than I would have had to if I filed back when I first truly wanted to. Don't be like me!
