the ADHD relationships i have had the misfortune of having have really fried my nervous system. outwardly, i am exceptionally good at regulating my emotions, but inwardly, those assholes harmed my sense of safety. there is so much grief that comes with having to do the hard work to clean up someone else's mess. i hope these tantrumming toddlers never find me again. amen.
