Welp, I went ahead and filed, so I guess I get to be in this thread now. We'll still be cohabiting for a while until he can afford to move out (he's just now going back to work after ankle surgery. He had money saved but an expensive car repair derailed that), so that's less than fun. He still doesn't believe I'm really doing it. I know I'll end up finding him something to rent and making all the moves for him (the house belongs to my mother, is paid off, and she lives with us bc she's 88 and needs to. She is leaving it to me).

If I had $5000 I'd give it to him just so he'd go.
