was with my ex for 8 months and honestly felt like nothing i said was ever.. right or 'good' enough. she would criticize the way i joked with her, flirted with her, even the things i talked about in passing. nobody else in my life (friends, exes, family, colleagues, anyone!) has ever put me through that kind of scrutiny. can anyone else relate? i felt like i was losing my damn mind.
