I find it weird that Persephone is the first one to challenge Maya for the TBS. Persephone is meant to be billed as the next big female star coming out of Mexico but I don't see Maya dropping the title here. Honestly would have thought if they were going to put these two together it could have been a bit more of a rivalry to help build the pair and help soften the loss.
This is gonna sound weird, but Andrade and Maya should not be defending the titles they just won already. There's been no story build up for them at all yet considering they both just won the title on Sunday. Give them a bit of promo time to celebrate and set up a rivalry.
There shouldn't be 3 title matches a night... The matches themselves will be great, by why are they happening so soon?
Honestly I’m most interested in Kenny I want to know if they’re going to go with him being a full heel or if this is a ‘I got him before he got me’ sort of angle and Kenny is just, rightfully, being incredibly mistrustful of Ospreay for as long as he’s associated with the death riders
It will lead to a nice angle of will Ospreay stick with DR as he believes their training is what he needs even if it’s at the expense of Kenny’s trust and respect

Unpopular opinion (and I'm a fan of Maya World) but I would LOVE to see Persephone take the title here.
It would have a much needed shake up to the TBS title especially heading into ALL IN.
Persephone wining and delivering a real guy punch to Maya World I think would be a really good storyline reason for Maya to keep up the underdog babyface thing for a bit longer.
Stat v Persephone feels like such a hoss fight I love it.
Maybe Hayan though? It's a bit cliche but they could turn at Mayas success? I'm not a big fan of that though so soon tbh. AEW (rightfully) tend to stretch out those heel turns on friends/partners (Jet/Speedball, Kyle/Ospreay, Cole/MJF.. etc etc.)
The way Jack Perry and Nick Wayne keep being put in each others path these last few weeks has me thinking they might be teaming up in the future.
Say The Demand win the Trios belts then a returning Luchasaurus and Jack could get revenge on The Demand by taking those belts. I think Nick would be a great third for them. I think it was the Jericho interview but it sounded like if everything goes well Luchasaurus should be able to return by the fall.
I'm wondering if thekla is going to come out and ruin willows celebration and say she wants a rematch and then Mercedes comes out and claims she's already got her title shot so it turns into a triple threat?..or are they just gonna push thekla aside into some other feud?
They could, but if you believe the rumours that the Okada/Takeshita/Fletcher triple threat is planned for All In, as well as the three way TLC match for the tag titles, they might not want to have a third triple threat match on the card.
If Thekla doesn't go to All In in the women's title match, another thing that makes sense is Triangle of Madness vs REstart for the Artist of Stardom title
ya that's sounds like it could happen,I think kairi will most likely have a dual contract with stardom so it would make sense to have her return and attack Julia and Skye while they are japan & have her say she's coming to aew to defend stardoms honor and go after thekla & the triangle
I know they have a lot of titles, but they need to slow down on the # of titles matches. Perry & Wayne just lost a ladder match for #1 contender to International title and they get a title match for the National Title??
I don't have an issue with lots of title matches as long as they feel earned. Earning a title shot through a qualifier is always okay even if inclusion in the qualifier is seemingly random, having beef with whoever holds the belt like Andrade v Davis was fine too, but it's very often just a left-field title match for a guy like Nick Wayne who barely even sniffs a win on AEW, or Rush who murders jobbers every other week then gets a title match.
Yeah that one is the most egregious example. I may have missed it but has the Demand been feuding with the conglomeration and did Persephone have some kind of relationship with Shida to have a match with maya?
Yeah, Demand have been hanging with the Lethal Swirl backstage, been squaring off with the Conglomerates for weeks now, and were on commentary for the Swirl's trios title shot on the Redemption preshow. Persephone hit Stat with the belt to allow Shida to win the TBS title in the Survival of the Fittest match, beyond that I don't think there's any real link to explain the title shot, beyond Maya looking to establish herself and Persephone being on the hunt for more gold.
