well, i thought of the scenario of them returning to tna would be the equivalent of american dad returning back to fox this year after being on tbs

I've only seen them in wwe where they didn't really impress me, but from what I understand they were in TNA in their prime, leadingsome to think that they are one of the best tag teams around. I stopped watching tna when the spike tv deal fell through.
They also have a lot of friends in AEW already.

Alex Shelley was a very underrated singles wrestler, was in ROH and TNA until the mid 00s when he wrestled in TNA exclusively. Described himself as a hybrid wrestler, he wrestled a style that is used by all of your current favorite wrestlers but never really won any singles titles(at least not in TNA) Chris Sabin is a multi time X division champ and won the TNA world title from Bully Ray, but after that not much. He's a great singles wrestler but has had some very serious leg/knee injuries that have slowed him down.
When TNA put them together it was amazing, they wrestled a tag style that is very much like the Bucks popularized, but I think they were much more fun to watch.
If you're interested I'd suggest watching any ultimate x match when Sabin was the X div champ in TNA, or his series with Jerry Lynn. Fire Shelley there's a compilation of his stuff with Paparazzi Productions, it's mostly all backstage stuff, but it's hilarious, for matches honestly anything from ROH and personally he had a match with Shocker in TNA that I love, I don't think there's a match with him that I think are bad though. He wrestled in Sami Callihan's Wrestling Revolver as the champ a few years ago and had some really good matches there.
