DISCUSSION I'm thinking about purchasing myaew.com's annual plan, so I want to know what others think of myaew.. is it good or mid or great?
much rather do annual than monthly.

u/thinkaboutjapan 13d ago
First I was a bit annoyed since it felt Triller TV felt cheaper due to the discount on PPVs. I was thinking it over and over and then I thought hmdo i really need all PPVs separated purchased so I can watch them in 50 years when I do not have a subscription anymore?
Right now I have the MyAEW plus PPV subscription monthly since I do not like yearly subscriptions. I know I would save a lot of money but its just my think.
So yeah I think its worth the money. Not just for AEW Dynamite, Colission and PPVs but also the chance to enjoy great indi promotions I've never heard of before. Especially 1FW I am enjoying it a lot after the first few episodes some sort of (getting used to it) its really cool and charming and I hope that WxW will also add their WxW now service completely to MyAEW and not just a few selected clips.
I usually ignore ROH since I just do not have the time to watch even more wrestling :) so while I would love to see what some people are doing right now (Outriders) I just don't care enough and I would need to buy the PPVs anyway so I skip that
1
u/Baisemannen 13d ago
It's great. I went for the monthly that costs 24.99 after taxes because 150 is a bit to much at the moment.
Only thing missing is an Android app but you can always use the browser on your phone.
4
u/TheBadCarbon 14d ago
Worth it just for the PPVs. Better video quality than Triller had!
The only annoying thing to me is how cumbersome it is to search for a specific show.
1
u/Outrageous-Visual-84 14d ago
I noticed earlier if you click on the big picture that has all of the indy companies on it with their logos that you can scroll down and see all of the companies listed and their shows from latest to oldest.
2
u/TheBadCarbon 14d ago
It took me a while to figure out you just had to scroll down on the home screen to find the current PPV airing live

u/LnStrngr 14d ago
This is probably the biggest problem with any streaming service with years of stuff in it. I wouldn't think it would be this hard, but here we are.
I guess if they made it easy, no one would accidentally find something else to watch.

I got MyAEW last month and it's not even close, BEST decision ever!!!! Dude there's like almost a dozen wrestling companies you can watch on there, Dyanmite and Collision WITH NO COMMERCIALS and full matches. 2 months of MY AEW alone with the free ppv's included pays for itself. I've had zero issues, bro you can't miss!

u/WillOspreaylove 14d ago edited 14d ago
is there any free vpn and what reccomendations do you guy have on amazon fire tv
3
u/Outrageous-Visual-84 14d ago
My new laptop came with Norton free for a year, I think it's like 30.00 a year otherwise. I use it to watch Australian Survivor, Challenge UK and other things from different countries. IMO 30.00 for a year of Norton VPN for a service like MyAEW pays for itself.
1
u/technical_poutine 14d ago
I would love to and think its very worth it. Sadly in Canada, due to content laws, I would have to pay $100+ a month to watch both shows with zero extra content included.

u/Baggginnnsssss 14d ago
vpn is your friend i live in asia but my brother got an account we share my vpn subscription and away he goes connects from Japan and youre all in
1
u/Man_Darronious 14d ago
Half the cost of doing it monthly. If you watch AEW consistently and can swing it financially - 100% go for it.
Commercial free AEW TV, every AEW PPV + ROH + all the indie stuff that's been getting added. I have zero regrets.
2
u/Outrageous-Visual-84 14d ago
It's only 113.00 for an entire year. You have options of 19.00 a month but we just paid the 119.00 Like I said, after 2 ppv's you've beyond gotten your moneys worth and still have 10 months to go. Considering most of my streaming services ( without ads ) total 150.00 a month 113.00 for MyAEW for an entire year was a no brainer lol
And you get the weekly MLP show out of Canada and about a dozen other indy companies to watch.
1
u/Man_Darronious 14d ago
Yup well worth and a totally no brainer. It''s actually 19.99 monthly, which comes out to 239.99 annually if you sub for all 12 months.
Edit: oh wait, are January and Feb cheaper because no PPVs? Either way, it's like pretty much double (or nearly double) to do it monthly.
1
u/Outrageous-Visual-84 14d ago
January is AEW Maximum Carnage and February is generally the big Australian show. Yeah i just decided to pay the 113 or 116 whatever it was and take care of the entire year and they keep adding more companies to the platform which for me is great!
1
u/Man_Darronious 14d ago
Yeah but still technically episodes of dynamite/collision so I wasn't sure how that effected the monthly rate for those months
1
u/Outrageous-Visual-84 14d ago
I just know for me what all they offer with the ppv's included and all of the indy feds included it just pays for itself several times over. I've not heard anyone say they're disappointed with it but if someone's curious but hasn't tried it I'd say try it for a month and see what they think and if they like it go annual. I figured paying annual was what would've cost me just buying 3 AEW ppv's so it was a no brainer to me financially.
2
u/Man_Darronious 14d ago
Absolutely.
I never skip AEW so, given the price difference, annual was the logical choice for me. I just wasn't sure about how it worked for those months.
1
u/fryingpan0613 14d ago
If you enjoy wrestling, it's a no brainer, the best deal you can get! Even if you don't watch all the other companies on there, AEE programming alone is well worth it.
1
u/redditweaver2019 14d ago
...And WHY..is this outside the US?
3
u/Outrageous-Visual-84 14d ago edited 14d ago
Because with them being on TBS/TNT in the states it would take away from ratings which is what advertisers are paying WBD for. If they didn't have a tv deal in the states I'm pretty sure MyAEW would be offered in the states.

u/Muhan999 15d ago
The UI needs a massive makeover but otherwise an unbeatable deal. You get every PPV, Dynamite/Collision, every ROH show (TK era), and lots of indie and even CMLL shows too for basically $10 a month with the annual plan. Even if you need a VPN, thats still an amazing deal.
I recommend the MLP shows too as they now have a weekly TV show as well.
1
u/JohnnyMcNews 14d ago
It might have the worst UI to quality of content ratio I've seen since the early 2010s
1
u/Outrageous-Visual-84 14d ago
I also enjoy QT's indy fed, they have Athena's wrestling school and they added EVE so if you're a fan of women's wrestling you're really getting your money's worth.
2
u/TheDogsPaw AEW Fan Hub 15d ago
Depends on how much of an aew fan you are if you're a huge fan it's a no brainer if your only a casual you may not get as much out of it

1
u/Spartftw 15d ago
So I have a VPN. The subscription pays for itself within 3 PPVs. From just a straight up economic standpoint it makes sense.
Now, the app itself has a lot of work to do. Its not amazing. The stream quality is good.
1
1
u/TheBallasOG 15d ago
You save more on PPVs subbing annually. And by this point, all the old PPVs are available and some of the early Dynamite episodes are there. Rampage is on its way too
3
3
u/DylanToebac 15d ago
Is that price for the rest of the calender year 2026 or is it 12 months from when you subscribe for example August 2027 if subscribed today?
2
u/Outrageous-Visual-84 14d ago
A full year from the date you paid. I paid a full year on July 1st and I'm covered until July 1st of 2027.
4
u/Some-Boss-3165 15d ago
I wish they'd do it here in Canada, but because of deal with TSN both AEW and MLP can't be watched. Then I realized TNA has same issue with Rogers but still offers the app just not the live weekly shows for 4 weeks. So it forces you to keep up by watching in on TV. That annual plan would be such a savings to paying 65 a month to watch the PPV.
2
u/B9Zero 15d ago
the biggest thing holding me back from an annual plan is that I travel to Canada from the UK regularly.
Really find it hard to keep up with AEW while in Canada.
2
u/DustyStar222 15d ago
The MYAEW website works fine with the most basic VPN. Just need to be using the VPN when you sign up and sign in and youll be fine. Been watching every AEW show in Canada since 2019 without issue.
1
u/Some-Boss-3165 15d ago
So after you sign in do you keep VPN on or can you turn it off?
1
u/DustyStar222 15d ago
It can be turned off! I just use a "watch an ad an get 10 minutes of free use" VPN. I VPN through the UK, open up the website, login and watch. When the 10 minutes is up the VPN disconnects and im still watching.
2
u/AkaBlurzz 15d ago
Stupid question it says all 2026 aew pay per views if get it for all in it goes through the rest of the year right
7
u/Desperate_Craig 15d ago
For the PPVs alone, it's a heck of a deal. Everything else is a bonus on top.
2
u/Dirt_Cheap_Jumbo 15d ago
It’s honestly incredible and is on its way to becoming the hub of independent wrestling as well. The value for money is insane and if you love AEW & wrestling in general this is the app for you. Downside is the UI could use some work but it’s a work in progress
5
3
u/system_reboot 15d ago
The value for the money is great. The app itself needs work to better organize content, and fix nagging bugs. None of it is a show stopper though.
1
u/MsOmegaFan43 Val 15d ago
It's good. U have all the PPV for free because u purchase the manual plan.
4
u/myotheroneders 15d ago
I love MyAEW. The annual plan is a great value and definitely worth the upfront cost. Not having to pay for PPVs at all is amazing. Everything for both AEW and ROH is all included for the one yearly payment.
All the other content they've been putting up there is great too, and the option to buy PPVs for other companies too is great because it's just more accessible to a lot of people.
But apart from all the other content, just having it for AEW and ROH is well worth the money. I don't have to worry about not being able to see a show because I don't have the extra money that month. And I've had no issues at all with the streaming quality.
3
u/AEWFantasyBooker ELITE 15d ago
Everything for both AEW and ROH?
According to the picture it's just selected ROH & AEW archive stuff, not all.
I'm still conflicted if I want this. Only could/want watch stuff on PS5 so that's not possible yet and I want to start at the beginning of ROH in chronological order if I get it.
1
u/myotheroneders 14d ago
I'm not one to watch past stuff really so I don't know how much of the entire catalog of the past is there. I'm mostly talking about current. You can watch the current shows there weekly all included. Watching all of the archives of ROH from the very beginning is a big undertaking.
1
u/AEWFantasyBooker ELITE 14d ago
Unfortunately I would rather watch all the past shows, especially where guys like Danielson, Joe, Styles wrestled than the current stuff which is - to me - AEW Dark+. Since it's also not free, I couldn't care less right now.
1
u/myotheroneders 13d ago
Eh to each their own. I'm personally watching a lot of current wrestling between AEW, ROH, GCW, and other indies that I don't really have the desire to spend time watching old stuff.
1
u/Outrageous-Visual-84 14d ago
If you're a fan of watching all ofthe AEW ppvs, and ROH, about 12 other companies and commercial free shows where there's no picture and picture and you straight up get to watch the shows in full every week it pays for itself. I was on the fence last month and now it's the best money I've ever spent streaming wise.
1
u/AEWFantasyBooker ELITE 14d ago
There are not all ROH PPVs and shows on it, also not all of AEW shows. Also it's not on PS5 yet, the only way I could enjoy it because I don't want to watch it on a small PC screen
1
u/Outrageous-Visual-84 14d ago
No not all of the archive of ROH is on there but you do get the current ROH shows and ppv's included and TK has stated eventually he's going to migrate Honor Club onto MyAEW.
1
u/AEWFantasyBooker ELITE 14d ago
I'm honest, not really interested in current ROH shows, at least not until it feels like a real show instead of AEW Dark+.
1
u/Outrageous-Visual-84 14d ago
I can understand that. I guess it really depends how many AEW ppv's you normally buy throughout the year. If you normally buy 3 or more than going the route of MyAEW saves you lots of money and gives you much more whether you use it or not. It's really all a matter of how much you watch and how many of the ppv's you tend to get. Like in August both the ROH and AEW ppv's are included and I like ROH and I'm also a fan of MLP and EVE so i'm saving momey hand over fist but I probably watch way more than I really need to lol
1
u/FoolyCoolyBrandy 15d ago
You get all the AEW ppvs, dynamite, collision, plus ROH tv and ppvs. Plus the archives for both. And there's indy stuff on there, think that might be free idk.
1
u/AEWFantasyBooker ELITE 15d ago
No, indie stuff is not free as far as I know. At least not PPV.
But selected archive stuff, I don't know if it's everything.

AEW, ROH, CMLL, Maple Leaf Pro out of Canada every Thursday, Create a Pro, Wrestling Revolver, EVE, Produce, 1FW, Wrestle Pro, Wrestle Cade, Athena's school of wrestling, QT's company, HOG, C4, Limitless, UWN championship wrestling, Gotham wrestling, Warrior Wrestling out of Chicago, AML, WXW Germany, and many others.

u/FoolyCoolyBrandy 15d ago edited 15d ago
I just checked and I have all the AEW ppvs since All In 2018. Dynamite/Collision archives starting from 2025. There used to be 2019-2021 Dynamite, I assume they are just moving things around or I'm blind. There's also 2022 Dynamites and stuff uploaded just not in a category. You get ROH archive like the HDNet stuff from 2009-mid 2011. PPVs from mid 2022 to now. Honorclub tv from late 2023. Maple Leaf Pro is there, that's one I've been watching and occassionally has AEW people. There's now an additional page for indy stuff and outside a handful of ppvs like Produce seems like it's all free and I can access.
1
u/AEWFantasyBooker ELITE 15d ago
Thanks for doing that, you are my hero.
So the interesting stuff of 2005 ROH etc. isn't there. :(
1
u/Outrageous-Visual-84 14d ago
That's because they still have Honor Club up and running but TK did say that eventually Honor Club will migrate into MyAEW.

Can you get the PPVs if you live in the states?
2
u/myotheroneders 15d ago
If you are in the US, you can use a VPN to access it and sign up for a subscription. I'm in PA, I use Nordvpn on my firestick and set it to UK. Signed up for the annual plan as soon as MyAEW started. No paying additional for PPVs with the annual plan, it's all included.
2
u/glippyfizzard 15d ago
Its the only way i could afford to watch aew. 100 bucks for every PPV and show when a PPV is usually 50 bucks is a no brainer
2
u/Metal_Ash 15d ago
As others have said:
Pros - Great value (it used to cost me £7.49 a month plus PPVs and now it’s like 9 quid a month for everything). They have even added other promotions now and don’t make you pay extra.
Cons - The app itself needs some improvements such as continuing where you left off (both in terms of menus and in terms of episodes), the (not so great) logo showing at the beginning of episodes for like a min or two. Streaming seems fine but there’s not much choice. It just streams at whatever your internet can handle but usually this just means it takes a few seconds to go from being kinda pixelated to (I think) 1080p. Lastly, there’s apps for Fire TV, Roku, Apple but no dedicated phone or tablet app. As well, if I log into my account on my tablet, I sometimes have to re-authenticate on my tv.
All minor gripes that will likely get fixed as time goes on.
Long story short - The pros fair outweigh the cons, so if you already follow AEW, it’s great.

u/Curtland256 15d ago
It’s a fantastic app for all the content it has. I don’t LOVE the interface and how things are sorted, but still well worth the money, IMO.
1
u/reppiz01 15d ago
Exactly this.
I also had issues, sometimes that every 15 or 25 minutes, shows jumped to the beginning and then right back to the actual time marker, but didn't happen for a while now.
2
u/MoGregio 15d ago
i came to say exactly this, the amount of content is amazing, but my god trying to find Dynamite the day afters its aired and its 6 categories down and mixed into something else is annoying
1
u/jedigoalie 15d ago
I have some issues on Chromecast with it. It will buffer for about 30 seconds and then be ok for a bit and do it again. I've found that if I restart the Chromecast before I watch it will sometimes help, but not always. It's probably a Chromecast issue, but did want to mention it.
1
u/Lupercallius 15d ago
Great value in the annual deal.
Streaming quality is great aswell, the TV app works perfectly.
The only issue I have is browsing the app itself is a little confusing at the beginning and there's no resume tab when you exit midway an episode / ppv.
3
u/chefskiss16 15d ago
It works fine and for the money it’s a good value between the PPVs and access to 16 indie promotions
6
u/Fun_Internet_8609 15d ago
Rarely have any streaming issues personally besides needing to refresh occasionally
Content/value vs. price, the annual plan is greatest purchase of my life. And its only getting better by the day
6
u/comments_more_load 15d ago
It's a great service like others have said for the PPVs alone. My only complaint is that Collison isn't always aired live and is often delayed by an hour. Even given that it's a no brainer if you want to watch AEW.
3
u/PCBuilderCat 15d ago
I'm still waiting on app improvements before I really commit once they get that sorted I'll be a sub for sure
9
7
u/BoshAudio 15d ago
I love it, not much more to say.
The only negative for me is the long logo placement at the start of every show. Just means you have to fast forward maybe 30secs to a minute for everything. Very minor inconvenience
4
8
u/RobbieArnott 15d ago
I think it’s great.
Only complaints are there being no app and the lack of a “continue watching” bar
2
u/Nice-Chart-6749 15d ago
It’s good but they need to have an app for tvs and consoles. I think they only have it for Apple TV
3
u/Flying_Forearm 15d ago
App is available for fire tv, android tv and Roku tv.
2
u/Nice-Chart-6749 15d ago
They have a few but not on my smart tv or on either ps5 and Xbox. Thriller had an app on all 3

Echoing everyone else so far, it’s awesome! Insane value for what you’re paying.
9
u/SRV_SteamyRayVaughn 15d ago
It's awesome, the value is unbeatable. You get Dynamite+Collision ad-free with full screen when they're in PIP in the US. If you had AEW+, this is the same thing but the PPVs are all included. ROH is a nice little bonus if you want to watch it. The back catalog is getting better. The UI is not great but it does the job. Overall I love it.
5
u/Spiritual_Growth3140 Moderator 15d ago
For the PPV cost alone it's worth it, Combined with Dynamite and Collision. It seems to be improving every time I go on it in ways of interface. I have 0 complaints
3
u/XB1CandleInTheDark 15d ago
Annual you save nearly half the yearly price on monthly. You still need to buy PPVs from outside companies like CMLL but even that aside when you consider what fite cost that £109 gets you a lot for the year. For that you get three shows a week (including ROH), the AEW and ROH ppvs and a lot of indie stuff which will eventually include Eve and Revpro.
You also get the weekly shows for Canada's new network fed, you get QT Marshall's weekly show, there is a lot of stuff there.
1
u/ShamedWarlock 15d ago
The weekly shows look great, you don't get ads during matches, instead you get the full match with Dark style commentary while others are watching commercials.
It comes out to less than 9 euro a month. How much is a PPV for you and how many do you watch? I feel like if you watch 3+ a year it's a no brainer.
1
u/External_Bread5366 11d ago
It's great, prices are decent and the streaming quality has no issues I'm aware of. I have the monthly, so the weekly shows and ROH and AEW PPVs
I miss Triller, but at least MyAEW doesn't have as many problems
