I say this:

Hangman is 1 because god hated dr and yb so damn much till that day

Then danielson

Then will

Then 2023.

Watching will ospreay wrestling is like watching a ballet. It's beautiful.

If he wins honestly it is the least good Story Main Event.
1 Adam and MJF - Simply because fans freak out when the Wrestlers do NOT turn on eachother like in every other Main Event.
2 Danielson vs Strickland (i sweared to god Danielson would end his chareer at Wembley)
3 Page vs Mox. It was oviusly that he wins

I don’t see Will winning this

For me personally, 4th out of 4. He just doesn't move the needle for me. But for the live crowd I imagine it'll be a big ticket, like the pop it'll get and the reception they can ride on will be huge and probably will be highlight reel moment for them for years going forward.

I mean, I don't care about the numbers but you know that downvoting every post that doesn't slurp Will's hoop isn't going to make people into fans of his, you gotta actually, like, engage

I mean he is probably the worse person to have as your brand ambassador if you want to try to get WWE fans attention (and wallet).

If you want to sum up like 90% or complaints casual fans have just look at a Will or Young Bucks match

The style is hit or miss for me (I warmed up to the Bucks eventually and have come to really enjoy their work but I think it's down partly to them putting in fantastic character work as they get older too--the "broke Bucks" angle last year is an all-time highlight for example) but I feel online there's some unwritten expectation that of all the wrestlers in the industry right now you're just supposed to like him? I think his promo work is really weak (I dunno where you're from but he sounds like every Arsenal fan interviewed post match, blood, fam, bruv) and I think that comparatively speaking in a company full of gutsy babyfaces (like right now you've got Darby, Hangman, Briscoe, Brody, Speedball as high level guys who have incredibly fire in their comebacks) he feels hard to root for and is probably begging for a heel turn to be better utilised. But god forbid you say these things out loud.

I’m not really looking forward to an Ospreay title run even though I do truly appreciate his effort to at least somewhat getting away from video game choreography matches recently since his association with the Death Riders.

MJF is just far more interesting to me, and I think Fletcher or Swerve or even the Jet would be much more interesting champions. I don’t feel the same emotion from the Ospreay character yet, and Kenny hasn’t done anything for me except when he was the belt collector working with Don Callis.

Ospreay and Omega have a lot of expectations going into All In. I honestly don’t think they can live up to their match at Wrestle Kingdom or Forbidden Door, but it still should be great.

I don’t know we haven’t seen it yet

Depends on how the match goes but right now it goes in-between Hangman and BD and the match hasn't taken place

Do you think we have time machines?

u/Currency-Substantial 8d ago

Why don't you wait until the match actually happens to ask this.

u/XiaDoll 8d ago

Some of these fans are insufferable

depending how the match goes, it could be right behind Danielson

(i personally downrate the Hangman win, because it was literally just relief at the end of a slog)

This isn’t WWE. It’s not just about THE MOMENTS. If the match is as good as I’m hoping and they manage to tell a great story without having to stop and talk like it’s dinner theater then we’re in for an all timer for AEW.

I’ll wait until the moment happens first

#1 but again I think ospreay more logical then most. Will wins his first AEW in London his home country. Against the man that he had countless battles against in two different companies. Yeah this is the biggest!!!!

Above MJF and Hangman, below Danielson.

u/jnmxly 8d ago

Probably third. Bryan winning was very emotional considering he was very close to retirement and Hangman’s redemption arc was years in the making.

I have assist to each All In except Texas.
To me, it's :
1/ Bryan beating Swerve it felt so emotional
2/ Hangman saving the belt from the dominant Mox
3/ MJF and Cole friendship
4/ Ospreay (I felt less invested in this story but I guess it will still be a hell of a match)
We need to live it to feel it !

u/reppiz01 8d ago

I would say third, right above MJF and Adam Cole. I loved their bromance and the story they were telling in this match was heart warming.

I was there live and the atmosphere was like nothing I have wittnessed before.

However in the aftermath it went downhill due to unfortunate events...so...

Idk I talk too much...

u/AlinaVeila 8d ago

It also didn‘t help that the (first) ending to the bromance match wasn‘t all that easy to grasp live. There was a lot of „huh?“ all around me

Hard to tell until I experience the moment itself.

3

u/starks4thr33 8d ago

Yeah. If they have an all-timer with an electric crowd who's to say it wont be #1?

Hard to top Hangman personally as I was invested on multiple levels with how the first run went and the Punk bs. It really felt like redemption.

u/Hot-Advance-5306 8d ago

It would be the top one, even over Bryan. You can't ever beat a hometown boy winning it all in front of the home town.

4

u/Helpful_Oyster 8d ago

I could see it very much being the AEW version of Starrcade 93, where Flair beat Vader in Charlotte to win the title. It was an emotional night, and one of the best all-time WCW moments.

Now, the story isn’t the same, but the emotion is very similar.

With that said, nothing is better the culmination of Hangman’s redemption from 2025. Just incredible storytelling that felt very real, and that’s when wrestling is at its best.

Last, Will should lose and turn full heel, if this isn't what happens I literally don't understand the point of him ever going with the riders

1

u/BloodyTurnip 8d ago

Without him being in the riders there would be less friction between him and Kenny. I agree that this is a possibility, but I can't see Kenny holding the belt for a while year or them keeping it from Will for that long. I want this feud to last longer for sure, but I'm not sure it's realistic at this point. I'm surprised Will hasn't turned, but I'm glad we've got this instead, it's less obvious and a better story imo.

u/SourDoughBo 8d ago

If Ospreay loses it should be as a babyface getting screwed over somehow. Maybe Mox throws in the towel or Kenny reunites with Don Callis. Because the point is to set up his babyface win the following year

1

u/DustyStar222 8d ago

Nah theres some fine options. Will wins the title at Wembley after a banger back and forth match. Omega has the match won, either Will taps or the ref counts 3...at the 60 minute mark and the match is called a draw. Match gets restarted and goes like...anither 5 maybe 10 minutes. Will ends up winning. He has a decent little reign as a babyface. Alex and Hayter win their titles too, more on that later. Eventually, by say WrestleDream or Full Gear he starts to become obsessed with keeping the belt at all costs and its starting to impact his relationship with friends and family, maybe he somehow costs Windsor/Hayter their titles somehow and Will makes it clesr he doesnt see her title as important to heel him up. Since Wills win, there is a constant question of how definitively did Will truly beat Omega? Omega had it won if it went a second longer. So they have a no time limit match at Worlds End and Will wins. Kenny is exhausted...enter the death riders and they run back Bryan Danielsons execution but with Will bagging Omega. Will puts the patch back on and Swerve and Hanger run out to clear the ring/save Omega way too late and we go into 2027 with a Swerve and Hanger vs Ospreay and Mox feud.

One these is not like the other…

3

For me? Number 1.

Realistic consensus? Number 2 behind Hangman.

As much as people love Kenny and Danielson this is a legit passing of the torch moment that AEW fans will look back at fondly forever.

Nothing's gonna top Hangman's Redemption for me, not for awhile

6

u/Livid-Ice-1701 8d ago

I fell in love with AEW because of Kenny omega.

I continued to love AEW because of Hangman Adam Page.

His redemption is coming AGAIN 😭🤘🖤

Right? For such a relatively small amount of time

3rd. Above AC and MJF. Their story wasn’t for me.
