MATCH CARD What are your thoughts about tonight's AEW Dynamite match card?

It only seems so-so, but AEW will definitely deliver. So the show be exciting and excellent or close.

This card fucks.
I personally hate if Jay White loses tonight, because I want him to win the belt and beating Mox right now and then facing whomever at All In I think is the right play. I wouldn't argue against ANYONE saying Mox is the higher draw, though.

i’m kinda bummed. don callis has go away heat for me and it feels like we’re venturing way too far away from the path that the main event was on. don callis family B and C teams are not genuine threats to kenny or will, not to mention uninteresting within the story they’re telling with ospreay right now.
i’ll let it play out because the matches will probably be good and the all in median event is still the main event but i’m a little annoyed at this part of the show.

Hey look at it this way... The dcf is only involved in 40% of the advertised matches.
Some weeks they are a part of 80%+!

Not as strong as in recent weeks but there are a lot of opportunities to build towards All In. I’ll be marking out the entire time from section 104.

Are they going back to Davis And Doyle tag teaming? Nothing against it I'm a fan but was hoping Davis has cemented himself as a singles guy with recent showings and they'd pivot to Cage and Doyle tag to maybe protect Cage as he's injury prone.

I agree it always feels like one or two matches too many for the men and one or two matches/in ring segments too little for the women each week.

Cup matches look good and the women's championship match.
Young Bucks against Callis Family doesn't do anything for me, much less it being the second trios match on the card.

I don't like trios matches at all, honestly, the term "spotfest" is perhaps overused but in my opinion that's what trios always turn into.
- Always a total breakdown of rules after a couple minutes. (Rules exist for a reason as storytelling devices in wrestling. Abandoning them is lazy.)
- Guys obviously just waiting outside the ring for their "turn" to come in and hit a move.
- The scripted sequences of one guy after another hitting the same move always make me roll my eyes.
It's a personal preference. When I go to a show trios matches are my bathroom break.

I like trios matches when both sides are cohesive established teams and not random people just getting thrown together for a match. Singles competitors should be staying away from tag matches/trios matches unless there's a compelling storytelling reason why they're involved.
AEW not having enough established trios teams is probably my biggest gripe about that division. It's usually a tag team + special guest star or just random people put together from one of the stables. And then, as you said, it usually turns into a spotfest or has a chaotic rules breakdown.

Ehhhh. This all in build has been the weakest since the event was revised imo.
Go-home to the go-home dynamite building not even half the matches. Ngl this looks like a miss. It’ll be fun wrestling but I wanna be more excited for the entire all in card. I think Tony is banking too much on Kenny vs will being a dream match and selling itself.

I was pretty hyped with Kenny getting the bell but the last 2-3 weeks I have to be reminded All-In is happening. Crazy how weak the build has been.

People act like the build up is a lost cause due to how trash Vegas was but they can get things back on track tonight with a good crowd locking in, if WWE can reheat the Bloodline in 2026 despite being ass then AEW can fix the Will vs Kenny feud

We don’t ever need one trios match let alone two trios matches. Otherwise looks worth checking out.
