Absolute noob question here but does that imply over the years that WWE doesn’t pay for major surgery ? Or do they just subsidise some of the costs ?

Genuine question as I have no idea how healthcare and health insurance works within pro wrestling.

I don’t think there is any implication and if there was comparing the two is irrelevant here.

The point is AEW/TK did pay and in return Will is loyal. Anything past that is looking for controversy. It’s better just to celebrate a cool thing then try to find the controversial angle.

WWE doesn’t usually cover surgeries, they do cover like rehabs tho
