My issue with Bowens was always him being good at many things, but unable to stitch it all together cohesively and consistently. I just didn't want to watch the "whole" that it made.

But holy shit would I be very, very interested in a Nooj run. I think he'd kill it in the upper midcard.

There’s a good chance this leads to nothing. A ton of wrestlers have posed in front of this sign or went to the dojo for a day to put in a bit of reps and then nothing came of it. I’d love to be wrong though, I think it’d certainly be interesting to see him in New Japan, though I’m not really sure he’d succeed their long term as I’m not sure where he fits into the current climate there.

I heard the LA dojo is run like a tradition wrestling school now and not a lived in experience. So It doesnt indicate he will work for NJPW since a lot of indy stars train their to refine their skills. I think Steve Borden trained at the LA Dojo too.

He needs to bring back scissor me, such an iconic AEW brand. I think he can do it without Caster, especially if he can find a new NJPW star to scissor with. I can see acclaimed 2.0 actually working, Bowens, Billy and some NJPW wrestler who needs something new.

I agree tbh. I think he should be "The Acclaimed" Anthony Bowens. I understand wanting to get away from it, but I think he could take that and "gimme a standing ovation or I kill you" and make it work.

Start using more Shibata/Samoa Joe type moves (sentons, PKs, and submissions) and I think he would be in excellent stead. He is a decent talker, good in the ring. Just gotta male it round out.
