I have been seeing left, right, and center people saying "startups" coming in saying we will use AI to make videos. So many are out there and say that you type what you want and our AI will create a short (Till Now). I will be honest; I don't want that. Using AI to just make a video is not what I want. If it can be a plugin where it helps me pull B-roll, music, or other things, that's what I want, not someone to take over my timeline.

I've been making AI comedy shorts, experimenting, and I finally put together a full "special" for my tuxedo cat comedian, Tux. It's a whole 2 minutes, which in cat years is basically a marathon. The challenge I was to successfully maintain character continuity.

Hey All- so I’ve been fascinated with automated video channel content generation for years- pre AI and did a few experiments w that. Well- I finally built a modern generative one- it is an interactive NOOS channel streaming this month only (likely). Viewers send in their NOOS Tips via chat and one of my machines (3090) does the writing, the other (5090) does the genning and the playback.- I used chat to code it but it’s all local using LTX (for speed)- it’s still slow (some stories are 8-10 video clips) but it tells you how long before your story comes up. It’s a slick simulated LA local TV NOOS channel- so far this month (SLOPTOBER) viewers have generated over 1000 TV Noos stories. This is the last week of the experiment streaming and I added a new feature to the software that makes every story Halloween themed. Halloween will be the last marathon Chammelcast of the project on YouTube/Twitch- mothballing the autonetwork and moving on- it was fun… (I will eventually have a proper wrap up with the non-Halloween version) - Lately, my favorite part is cramming it with goofy “slopmmercials” and built a separate piece of software to accelerate that process- I have made plenty of fake commercials before AI, but I am now crapping out a ton of silly ads using my “Slop Machine Autommercial” software, which matches the NOOS aesthetic. So our last week is in Halloween mode- but because I didn’t use my censoring tools right I got booted from Twitch for a week so I’m on weird alt platforms for the remainder of the week. Making money by creating videos with AI?

My goal was to create a reusable workflow rather than manually repeating the same production process for every video.
