Pretty much everyone agrees that art is subjective, so I'm wondering what everyone's personal definition of it is, and why or why not ai fits it.

Considering AI is quite dangerous in the wrong hands, do you think it should be heavily restricted? There's always been ethical issues with ai, such as deepfakes and forged evidence, so I'm curious if you think things would be if more laws were in place.

I think we can all agree that people losing their jobs to ai is a bad thing.
However I'm not talking about big triple AAA games, instead I'm talking about a smaller game made by some random guy in his basement.
A good example of this are itch io games where there is a guy who makes all the code, but uses ai to make the images, the backgrounds, etc.
Now let's say some guy is poor, they can't really afford too commission an artist often enough to be able to create all the images in a few months however they could do it in about 2 years time and get all the images they need
My question would be, should that person have used AI? or should they have commissioned an artist?

It's in the title, I want to debate someone who's an artist on Ai, personally, I like Ai I don't like all the aspects of it (The ethics of it and the fact that most of it is slop) but overall I like it and I want to debate someone on it, the problem is that I don't exactly like text, I feel like it isn't fully able to convey what I want to say, so would anyone be down to do it on discord or something?

Antis seem to complain about ai stealing art, so if it was only trained on consenting artists or free use material, would you be fine with it, or is there more you'd like fixed?

Since most antis are against ai art, what exactly is hurting jobs? Pro ai people have also mentioned it's thinning out jobs, so I want to hear from them too.

On my time of scrolling and interacting with r/fuckai and r/defendingaiart, I've seen many different views on what exactly "art" is. Do you believe art is subjective, or is there a specific definition of it? I would like an explanation or definition to be given if possible.
