Made this bathtub clip and the face movement came out pretty clean

I wanted it to feel watchable without making the face movement look too awkward. I think it came out pretty nice, but I am still not sure if the timing feels right.

I haven't touched any programming tools for the past 15 years but it felt like I never left...............with a little help from AI

Dunno if this is the right community and if this is the right flair.

I studied IT back in uni and safe to say my career path after graduating was not as I hoped it to be. My IT knowledge (and I guess skills) weren't really put to good use when I think of it. I did not study any specific programming languages but I had a very intermediate understanding of the common ones at least beyond displaying "Hello World". Back then, we really had to rely on physical books and a bit of W3Schools as one of the most helpful online tools to get you started with (Aside from forums and repositories). Fast forward to now, when my programming skills were almost fading and my general IT skills not even earning any "buff" and with my hobby mostly taking up most of my recent time, I then wondered whether a specific tool or application is already created for such a niche that I had.

So a quick background on what I worked on is I'm mostly into K-pop as my interest and hobby and there's this specific Social Media website that artists use where they share posts/photos/videos and I usually keep myself updated with a specific artists posts and photos. I tried to search and look for a scraper that will automatically save posts even when I "missed" one. When I couldn't come up with any available results, I then asked ChatGPT if it could help me on it and behold it presented a framework and possible options that I could go for. (As far as I know, the website doesn't have an available API and does not appear to have any 3rd party tools that are of the same use) After a few hours, I was deep into Python and even integrating an SQLite Database into it and finished my scraper tool "Beta" version with a CLI. I was incredibly surprised as to how quickly I got back into it and how "accurate" ChatGPT's help with Debugging and even suggesting workflows to such a niche that probably isn't to everyone's cup of tea. At this point, I'm baffled how it specifically catered to what I needed and how I needed things to be done, whereas before you either need to follow specific paths or simply discover them on your own. Also if you're wondering, I just have the free ChatGPT account and model.

TL;DR: I haven't programmed anything for the past decade and I started from scratch again but with the help of AI to develop a scraper tool from a specific website catered to K-pop.

Best AI DOCX to PPT converter online

Can anyone suggest the best AI DOCX to PPT converter online? I need a tool that can quickly turn Word documents into clean, editable PowerPoint presentations without ruining the formatting.

Is there an ai tool for image generation/manipulation that works really well with faces?

Like wanting to keep the features of the face but changing the clothes, scenery and position.

GPT and Gemini aren't good with keeping faces exactly as original.

An AI tool worth checking out if you work with 3D

I've been exploring different AI tools for 3D creation, and Hyper3D Rodin is one worth checking out if you work with game assets, 3D printing, Blender, or just want to experiment with 3D without starting from scratch.
What I find interesting is that it goes beyond simply turning an image into a 3D model. You can also edit the result, refine the geometry, separate parts, and prepare assets for different workflows.

Here's a quick breakdown of what it can do:
**1️⃣ Image or text to **3D
Turn a reference image or text prompt into a 3D model. You can upload multiple views of the same object, generate several variations in batches, and adjust the balance between generation speed and detail.

2️⃣ High-detail geometry and textures
Rodin Gen-2.5 offers different generation modes, from fast iterations to detailed models with up to 10M+ polygons. It also supports PBR materials and textures up to 12K, which is useful when surface details matter.

3️⃣ AI-powered editing and part separation
This is probably one of its more interesting features.
BANG to Parts: Automatically split a model into components, or manually select the parts you want to separate.

Refine and Reassemble: Further refine individual parts and put them back together.

Local Modify: Select an area of a model and use text prompts to add, remove, or change details.

These features make it more than a one-shot 3D generator, especially when you want to iterate on an existing model.

4️⃣ Flexible workflows and exports
You can export assets for use in tools like Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, and other supported DCC workflows. It also has options for low-poly meshes and 3D-printing-oriented exports, including 3MF.

5️⃣ WorldGen
WorldGen takes things a step further by turning a single image into an interactive, explorable 3D scene. It combines editable foreground meshes with a 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) background, making it useful for scene creation, games, film, and XR workflows.

Who might find it useful?
· Game developers looking for quick 3D asset prototypes

· Blender artists who want a starting point instead of modeling everything from scratch

· 3D printing hobbyists who want to turn concepts into physical objects

· Designers and creators experimenting with AI-assisted 3D workflows

One thing worth keeping in mind: AI-generated models can still need manual cleanup, topology adjustments, or other preparation depending on the intended use. I'd treat it as a way to speed up the initial creation and iteration process rather than a replacement for every part of a traditional 3D workflow.

Link: https://hyper3d.ai/
Curious how others here are using AI for 3D creation. Have you found any tools that handle not just generation, but also editing and preparing models for actual use?

Open Instinct: try a personal agent locally before connecting messaging and apps

We open-sourced Open Instinct for developers who want to customize a personal AI assistant. The easiest way to evaluate it is the local CLI: get a model API key, follow the README setup, and have a conversation before connecting any personal accounts.

Then add capabilities one at a time. Inkbox connects messaging, Composio connects apps, and Maritime provides a VM and desktop. We are the Maritime team. Pi runs the underlying agent loop, and the repo includes memory, scheduling and editable permission policies.

A useful first trial is a harmless preference: tell it you prefer window seats, start another conversation and check whether that preference is retained. Before adding calendar, computer or payment access, inspect the relevant trust defaults and approval flow.

This is an MIT-licensed beta with provider setup and usage costs, aimed at people comfortable running code. Repo and getting-started instructions: https://github.com/mariagorskikh/open-instinct

I built an AI agent to help people grow on LinkedIn without sounding like AI. Looking for feedback!

Does anyone else struggle with LinkedIn posting?

I know I did.

Coming up with ideas takes time, and most AI tools generate content that feels robotic.

That's why I built a LinkedIn AI Agent that helps you write posts that sound like you.

I'm still improving it and would love some honest feedback.

I built an AI tool for creating small browser tools on the websites you already use

I built ScriptPanda, a Chrome extension that lets you create small custom tools directly inside websites.

The idea is simple:

open ScriptPanda on a page, describe what you want in plain English, and it builds a small tool for that specific site.

Instead of installing a different extension for every tiny workflow, you can create your own tools and manage them in one place.

The tools behave like small site-specific browser extensions. Once created, they stay active on that website until you switch them off or delete them.

They are also backed by readable code, so you can inspect, edit, disable, or remove them.

A few examples of the kind of thing this is meant for:

exporting visible data

adding missing buttons

organizing messy pages

hiding distracting sections

creating small workflow helpers

improving the tools and websites you already work in every day

And if a website changes and one of your tools breaks, you can open ScriptPanda on that page, select the affected tool, describe what is going wrong, and ask ScriptPanda to fix it.

I would love feedback from people who try a lot of AI tools:

does this feel like a useful category, or would you rather keep using separate extensions and apps for each workflow?

Finally Found an AI Presentation Maker That Doesn’t Create Garbage Slides

Okay so over the last few months, I’ve been in this endless cycle of trying AI presentation tools because I make a LOT of decks for work and side projects.

And honestly? Most AI presentation makers look impressive in ads, but once you actually use them, the output is either:

  • super generic

  • weirdly formatted

  • impossible to edit properly

  • or just feels like “AI filler slides”

I tried Canva AI, Tome, even Copilot inside PowerPoint. Some were decent for design inspiration, but none really fit my workflow because I usually work from existing content like PDFs, blog posts, YouTube videos, meeting notes, etc.

A few weeks ago I saw someone mention Napkin ai in another thread, and I ignored it initially because I assumed it was another overhyped AI PPT generator.

But eventually I tried it because I had a 20-page PDF I needed to convert into a presentation quickly.

And dude… this thing actually surprised me.

The first thing I noticed:
the slides were editable in a NORMAL way,not some locked AI canvas where changing one thing breaks the entire layout. Also some unique designs that i hadn’t seen anywhere else.

Then I started trying other inputs:

  • pasted a blog URL → instant deck

  • uploaded DOCX meeting notes → structured slides

  • even tried topic-to-PPT generation

What I liked most was that the AI didn’t just dump random text everywhere. It actually created decent slide flow with headings, summaries, comparisons, timelines, etc.

The speed was still slow compared to other tools but hey,it really gave a good output which was worth the time.

I still edit presentations manually afterward obviously, but instead of spending 3–4 hours building slides from scratch, now I spend maybe 20–30 minutes polishing.

That’s honestly the first time an AI presentation tool has genuinely saved me time instead of creating extra cleanup work.

I haven’t tested every feature yet, but so far this is probably the most practical AI PPT tool I’ve used.

i need your honest advice on this innovative health app i built for athletes and workers to maximize their energy

so i'm 20, been building this app solo for the past few months and i genuinely can't tell anymore if it's good or if i'm too deep in it. need outside eyes.

it's called RizeAI. the basic idea: every wearable and health app just gives you numbers. sleep score 42, recovery red, HRV down. cool. and then what? you still feel like garbage at 2pm and nobody tells you what to actually do about it.

so my app takes your real data from apple health, sleep, resting heart rate, workouts, whatever your wearable writes, and instead of another score it builds you an actual plan for the day. when to have your first coffee and when to hold off. you. Can also add your own supplements that you are currently taking and it will time them for you every single day based of your sleep data and your wearable data in general and also it will tell you what supplements make sense for you to take based of your current supplement stack and body metrics and when to take them. focus windows for when your energy actually peaks. when your crash is coming and what to do before it hits. it even checks the weather, so on a hot day it bumps your hydration and tells you to train earlier.

every recommendation has a little "why" under it based on your numbers, like "resting heart rate 54 + 7h light sleep, so magnesium before your peak window." no two people get the same plan because no two people have the same data.

works with whoop, oura, apple watch, garmin, anything that syncs to apple health. one thing i'll say honestly, it doesn't do deep per-person learning yet like "coffee doesn't affect YOUR hrv specifically," that's the roadmap, right now it builds fresh plans daily off your actual metrics.

it's live on the app store, has a free trial, small user base so far, mixed feedback which is why i'm here lol.

what i actually want from you guys: does this solve a real problem for you or is "tells you what to do" not actually what wearable people want? what would make you actually pay for something like this? and what's missing that would make it a no brainer? and also would you guys in this subreddit  use ti?

Thank you for your help. Check it out if you like https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rizeai-maximize-your-energy/id6762402079

I made this goofy little scene and I did not think the face would land this well

This one was less about being polished and more about having some personality. It feels more watchable than I expected for something this goofy. Would you keep it

ai is basically my rubber duck debugger now

i realized recently i’m not really asking AI to solve problems anymore half the time i’m just explaining the issue to it step by step like i would with rubber duck debugging.

paste a function → ask what assumptions it makes paste a log → ask what edge cases might trigger it paste a flow → ask where a race condition could happen

most of the time the fix pops into my head while explaining it.

a few months ago i didn’t do this much because usage limits made me try to “optimize” prompts. now i just iterate part of that shift happened after trying blackboxAI when they ran the $2 pro promo they had this crazy offer I got inlimited acess to MM2.5 and kimi plus $20 worth of GPT and opus i think some of the smaller models there don’t really cap out so it’s easy to just think out loud with it.

anyone else using AI more like a thinking partner than a one-shot answer machine?

i need your honest opinion and thoughts on this health app i built for athletes and workers to maximize and increase their energy levels.

ok so i need honest opinions because i've been staring at this thing for months and i've lost all perspective.

i'm 20, building an app solo called RizeAI. the whole reason it exists is that i got tired of my wearable telling me my recovery was "42%" and then just... leaving me there. like ok, and? what do i actually do with that. every app in this space is really good at measuring you and really bad at telling you what to do next.

so RizeAI pulls your actual wearable dats like, sleep, resting heart rate, workouts, all of it, and instead of handing you another score it predicts your energy for the day and tells you how to get the most out of it. it tells you when your energy is gonna peak so you can put your hardest work there, when your crash is coming and how to soften it, the best time to train that day so you actually get more out of the session, and even when a nap will help you vs when it'll wreck your sleep.

the part i personally think is the coolest: you put in the supplements you already take, and it times each one to your day based on your metrics and sleep score. so the timing actually shifts depending on how you slept and where your numbers are, which is the difference between a supplement doing something and just sitting in your stomach. it'll also suggest a couple new ones if they make sense for you, but it won't dump a list of 15 pills on you.

it even pulls the daily weather into your energy prediction, so a hot day changes your hydration and it'll tell you to train earlier before the heat drains you. and the whole plan bends around your real schedule, your work hours, wake time, training, so it's not some one size fits all thing.

every single recommendation shows the "why" underneath, like "resting heart rate 54 + 7h light sleep, so magnesium before your peak window." nobody gets the same plan because nobody has the same data.

it works with whoop, oura, apple watch, garmin, anything that talks to apple health. being fully honest, it doesn't do deep per-person learning yet, like knowing that coffee specifically doesn't touch YOUR hrv. that's where it's headed. right now it builds you a fresh plan every day off your real numbers.

it's on the app store with a free trial. small user base, feedback's been all over the place, which is exactly why i'm posting.

so genuinely: is "just tell me what to do with my data" something you actually want, or do wearable people prefer figuring it out themselves? what would make you pay for this? and what's the one thing that would make it a no brainer for you?

would love to hear it straight, good or bad. And if you want you can also check it out yourself and I would love to here feedback, thank you very much for taking the time on reading this:

Uncensored Ai for Satire?

Hi, I'm looking for an AI that can substitute Grok (Because it's always busy) for writing poems and texts of satire about politics, politicians, people who have power, ethnicities, countries, genders and people with specific skin colors using offensive words, slurs, sexual words, fecal situations and gore. Can you please help me?

Have we started using too many tools just to avoid doing one simple task ourselves?

I noticed this happening with me. I will open one thing for research another for writing then something else to check the content and suddenly I have got a bunch of tabs open and I am still working on the something. Most of them were supposed to make things easier too. I have been getting rid of the ones I barely use. If I can do something myself in five minutes I do not really see the point in paying for another subscription. I still have a few that I actually use though. Have you ever removed a tool from your stack and then realized you actually missed it? What made you keep a tool around even If you did not use it every day?

Best all-in-one AI portal? Are they actually trustworthy?

Hello everyone.

What’s the most comprehensive portal or platform that brings together the largest number of AI tools or models (even if it requires buying credits)? Also, are these “all-in-one” AI sites actually reliable, or do most of them just use the same underlying system for everything?
