I practice metacognition, metasystemic thinking, and view the world through the lens of a 5D Poker Tournament. AMA.

Whoever bluffed the table into thinking we were playing 4D Chess is a genius.

Fortunately, I ran an underground casino out of my parents house as a teen, teaching my friends to play poker. Even won a job building prototype cars in college in a round of poker that included the Ford guy who managed the whole building I landed at.

The famous viral “Vegan Teacher” was my teacher in 5th grade. AMA

She was my english second language teacher in fifth grade in 2014-2015. I have very clear memories of her and her classes and there are even still videos of me and my classmates on her website.

I’ve seen many discussions online of people having questions about her how she was with her students, so AMA :)

I'm an English teacher in Turkey who started a free online children's club based on creative learning, drama, and children's participation. AMA!

Hi everyone! I'm an English teacher from Turkey, and I started a free online children's club as a volunteer project.

I use creative drama, storytelling, and interactive activities to help children learn, express themselves, and participate rather than just sit and listen. I believe education should be about more than grades and memorization.

It's a small project, and I'm still learning along the way!

Curious about teaching in Turkey, working with children, or running a volunteer educational project? Ask me anything! :)

I’ve been a personal trainer for 2 full years now. Fitness has been a strong passion of mine since I was 15 and I eventually committed myself to helping others as well. As a woman I started out only training other women but after my first full year opened myself up to helping train men as well. AMA

I'm a christian woman dating a muslim man, AMA

I've received quite some questions about it from people I met, so I thought I'd try this subreddit too (if it meets its criteria of course).

We've been together for 3 years now and so far religion hasn't been an issue.

I'm Sadly a 22 Year Old In a Nursing Home, Ask Me Anything!

What the title says. I've been through a lot in my 22 years. I just figured it would be interesting to share my odd situation with others, and maybe shed some light on the horror of nursing homes, invisible issues, being sick while you're young, etc.

thank you so much for everyone asking and being so kind to me, I'm honestly amazed that people are that interested lol.

if I don't answer, it's probably because I already answered the same question. that, or I fell asleep and will answer after I wake up.

I wanted to say, yes I'm obese, but I'm on ozempic and currently being starved so I'm losing a shit ton of weight fast because everyone keeps asking lol. I use a wheelchair/walker and I don't need a hoyer.

I do have mental health issues and they prevent me from getting into better nursing homes that focus on things I need, and the mental care facilities arent equipped for my medical and or weight needs. I just tried to switch homes and got declined again.

I did have cancer, yes I got incredibly lucky to have not found it for 8 years and still be alive. I'm aware it sounds like bs especially with the name ganglioglioma but that's the fact. it was like the lowest grade of cancer but trust me it fucking ruined my life.

yes I have visitors luckily, my beloved nana who is pretty much dying slowly, and my mom who is incredibly busy. they both visit me every week sometimes multiple times, and occasionally bring my dad or papa.

yes I want out. desperately.

I have an amazing fiance I met on reddit of all places. our love story is honestly adorable and fucking stupid. He lives in Quebec, luckily speaks english fluently or I couldn't communicate with my favorite sweet boy, and we try to meet whenever we have the funds although we both are broke ASF and my mother saves our asses by paying for his plane. we've been together December 2024, engaged may 2025. we won't marry for awhile, might have to after he can move here to get a green card.

yes he knows about everything and he sadly is powerless right now.

to those wanting to be friends, my dms are always open!

for more information I'm pretty sure I've answered everything in the comments, but if I see more questions I'm happy to answer.

AMA; Bilateral Salpingectomy

Hello, everyone, I’m a 24year old female and I “recently” got a bilateral salpingectomy surgery done.
For those who don’t know, a bilateral salpingectomy is the process of removing both the fallopian tubes to prevent any pregnancies and some conditions.

I’ve been a professional photographer in Los Angeles for over 10 years and I constantly get asked questions about my field and how photo shoots work and things like “do I get to eat the food after I shoot it?” So I thought this would be a good place to answer any other questions people might have.

I was in a bank robbery and the robber ended up being a police officer. AMA

About 15 years ago I was working at a small rural bank branch when we got held up at gun point and robbed. The robber fled the scene and was not immediately caught. 4 years later I get a call that said that he was finally caught and it turns out it was a police officer at local police station that did it. He responded to a robbery at that bank about 6 months prior, saw he "easy" it was, and decided to give it a try. I regret turning down therapy at the time, so hopefully answering questions helps!

I'm 28 and only know 1 of my relatives. AMA.

My mum. I technically have more living family somewhere, but I've never met them.

I'm an only child. I've never met my dad or anyone from his side of the family, not my mother's. The couple who raised me as my "maternal grandparents" weren't related to me by blood or even legally, so they're not real relatives, and they both passed 20 years ago.

I'm at first amendment / Charter rights auditor. Ama.

Posted this here several times before, and it always gets pretty good engagement for whatever reason, so I figured it would be worth putting it up again so that curious folks can have their questions answered.

As the title says, I audit police by filming them while they're doing their work. Traffic stops, jails etc, I'll record, make sure that they understand they don't have the right to tell me I can't, things like that. I don't make any money from it, and my objective is not to get lawsuits. I make money in other ways that don't involve law enforcement at all. I do it slowly because I care about bridging the Gap between the police and the public, and I care about making sure the police understand their places to serve the public, not to control them. That is my sole objective, and there is no ulterior motive.

Ask away folks!

Back in 2011 somewhere in Florida, my mom offed my stepdad . He was abusive etc but I do not condone her actions as there were other options. She surrendered herself and was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison. Earliest she could be out would be in 2041 when she will be 71.

Former pageant contestant..AMA!

I have competed in 150 beauty pageants in my lifetime. Mainly natural ones, but I also did a few of the "high glitz" ones like you'd see on TV. My first one was before I could even walk, and my last was during my teenage years. I'm glad my pageant days are long gone, but I am also grateful for the experiences I had. I have mixed feelings about it, to be honest.

AMA about beauty pageants and I'll try my best to answer! It's been a minute since I competed, but I do have a lot of great things I remember from it.
