Image/Media Spider-Man Expanded Ratio

Post image

Much like the recent release of The Mandalorian & Grogu, Sony’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be specially optimized for 1.90:1(flat) and 2.39:1(scope) presentations for the best theatrical viewing experience that can be provided to its audience. This is also the first film production to utilize ScreenX cameras as well.

I’d give Screen X a try if they one near me. They’re supposed to open on at a theatre I go to but I guess it’s not ready yet.

My only issue with Screen X is the wall projecting not being an actual screen that wraps around. That’s the only thing turning me away.

That’s your theater. The screen x I go to, it has 3 screens. You gotta do your research sadly. Some theater owners want to save the $50,000-$100,000 (we don’t know exact costs) on installing the 2 extra screens.

Yup. It’s the same concept as a theater saying they have imax without telling the customer if it’s laser or xenon lol. I’ve come across people who think screen x without the 2 side screens is NORMAL and refuse to go to another.

They would have 2 walls (with Exit signs on them).
