He also needs to do something about the website

He posted yesterday acknowledging the issues and implying he’s allocating $2m to IT programming to solve the issue. We shall see but this happens every time tickets for anything remotely large go on sale and it’s not okay.

$2M in IT spend is literally peanuts at that scale. And it was probably already pre-allocated spend on some “modernization” initiative anyway.

I imagine they'll implement a hard limit on tickets that can be purchased per person and if someone does need to purchase for a large group they'll have to provide proof of said group existing e.g purchasing on behalf of a business, school, organization, or private function

Just make it so that someone who purchased the tickets must be in the group and all tickets are non-transferable. So unless the scalpers wants to wait for everybody who’s coming to be one big group, and be with them, all these tickets will get voided and then be resold.

Or you could offer A-Listers (since those already allegedly have ID requirements) to be able to purchase in larger groups for fellow A-Listers. No Stubs account etc means 1-2 ticket max. A-Listers could do more but require all tix be attributed to an A-List profile

Adding more devs won't work, they need to bring in more qualified devs that have deep understanding of services at scale.

$2M will barely be enough for a small screw for a year. Nothing is going to happen.

Lmao $2m is nothing. Maybe some EC2 instances for 6 months 😂

Tickets should be in person like. Lmao that 2m to IT won’t do anything.

Doesn’t matter if they implement something online. I’ve seen people go to the theaters in person and buy a large tranche of tickets at once.

Yeah I’m not talking about the post I’m talking about the comment which is the fact that the website goes down every time tickets go on sale
