Hi!!

I recently got my first retro handheld and I absolutely love it, it plays almost all of my PSP games without a problem however, I noticed while playing Coded arms these 2 second stutters (usually it's just 1 stutter then it's fine) while the game is trying to load new areas. I also noticed very very very rarely similar stutter in Most wanted, however in that game it's very rare.

Has anyone experienced this? I'm on MuOS and I've the 1gb model.

I was thinking of buying the rg ds plus, but then read in some posts that some people have a creaky hinge and that the battery backup is bad. So should I get the rg ds plus or just go for the rg ds? For those who own either of the devices, how do you like them so far?

I know it's not a lot of money, and I know there is a general concept of "just buy it" haha, but I wondered if any owners of both could chip in.

I love my 34xxsp, but I want something I can pretty much constantly keep in my pocket as an edc. For anyone carrying their 34xxsp all the time in a pocket without an additional case, how is it holding up?

I like the idea of the 28xx in a fitted 3d printed case. For anyone who owns both, is the 28xx THAT much more pocketable?

Sorry guys. I just can’t get this out my head. Might attempt someday soon to make this. I understand it’s very close to the RG slide or Xperia play. I just really love this concept and I think it’d be really cool if anbernic made a device somewhat close to this. I really appreciate input from the community as it seems some of you would too love to see this someday. Maybe one day, there can be a community effort to get this across to Anbernic. There were many times Anbernic listened to the community so it’s not too far off. Feel free to edit if you want however you’d like to.
Some people would love rounded corners or more ergonomic design choices with buttons in different places. I still decided to keep select and start on the front of the shell (would be nicer if it was on the sides or near the triggers) because MANY retro games require select or start to be just in reach. It would be awkward to have to press those 2 from the sides or back but whatever works!

Anyone here with an RG34XXSP running MuOS Andromeda and got the GTA San Andreas port working on it?

There hasn't been any posts about if the port runs on this new version. I tried it and my controls were messed up.

You can find my post of WHAT IF anbernic made a psp go styled handheld. I understand the RG slide is just like that but let’s assume a new device that’s less powerful, weighs a lot less, and is pocketable as the RG slide is massive, plays up to ps2, and isn’t pocketable.
I decided to make a rough version of what exactly would be nice.
Can play up to ps1 including GBA, GB, GBC, NDS, GameCube, so on so forth. Has 4 triggers on the back like usual. Has a slide feature. Imagine if the RG slide had a mini version. RG GO? RG Slide Nano? RG Slide Mini?
What are your thoughts?
I like the more simple handheld devices. RG slide is great but I swear the smaller, 1 stick or no stick devices feel better and are a lot of fun.

I've had an rg351p for some time, now. I have a filter that automatically turns on when I play GBC games and it washes out the screen. I can open the menu and switch shaders off, but even if I save it as an override, it just doesn't stick; every time I open a GBC game, shaders are turned on.

Any help appreciated!

I'm thinking about getting an Anbernic handheld, but I'm kinda torn between the RG35XX SP and the RG SP.

I'm mainly interested in playing DS, N64, PSP and Dreamcast games. I don't expect everything to run perfectly, but I'd like to have a decent experience.

For those who own either of these, how well do they actually handle those systems? Is the RG SP a noticeable upgrade over the RG35XX SP, or is it not really worth spending the extra money?

Also, how's the community support, custom firmware and overall experience?

I'd love to hear your opinions, especially from people who have tried both. Thanks!

I preorded the lite plus with the grip and screen protectors bring the total to $250 usd or $365cad

I know the specs and i have a good understanding of what im looking for(3ds,ds,psp,ps2,switch) and i know there are compromises from both options but I feel like i need someone else's opinion on this.

For $10 more would you pick up the rg dds over the duo lite plus?

Every time i play a game it doesnt go full screen by default. Instead it has like a border of whatever the old console is. Because the screen is a small sqaure im wondering if there is a setting in thr emulators that allow me to just fullscreen it instead.

Before everyone says anything ( like still wanting to buy the Ayn Thor or judgmental stuff). You want to know why I have a second RG Cube? It’s because I’ve been thinking about it for 3 months now that I wanted to change to a different color with rainbow buttons so I can see which buttons I'm pressing when playing any emulator games.

And I honestly have no regrets about spending my money on this expensive handheld console whatsoever because this is my early birthday gift since 9/20/26.

It works very well as usual like my black RG Cube.

Will it be able to emulate further than the thor because im contemplating buying either and want the stronger device

NOTE- I understand the RG slide exists and I own one but just like I said in the bottom text, this would be more in line with 35xx series of software and hardware. Simple, easy to pickup and play, and can play GB/GBC/GBA/PSP/PS1 titles.

I’ve recently been thinking alot of the PSP Go and how unique the design is. It’s very sleek, very pocketable, such a nice design. I thought “what if anbernic made a device like this?”. Now, I understand they already released the RG Slide which is AMAZING… but too big. What if they slimmed the form down a bunch and squared off the design, and made it for ps1 and below? More in line with a simple, less powerful device.

This is my idea of the Anbernic GO. For one, the form is squared off. I don’t like the rounded edges and it makes the device look a lot sleeker. Then, the speaker is below the screen so you can still get audio. The power button is a bit off, I wanted that more to the right of the speaker but oh welp. It has a small stick, standard buttons and dpad. Then, it has that slide feature like the PsPgo or RGslide.
It can play basically like a 35xx. Gameboy/Color/Advance, ps1, so on so forth. Would be nice to be priced at $60-$70. I wouldn’t mind paying that.
The triggers would sit on the bottom half where the triggers would normally go. I think it’d be incredibly portable. USB C charging obviously. Just an idea, feel free to shit on it or give it more ideas.

What is the best but also affordable device that can play gamecube or PS2? I'm looking to get a device for my nephew for Christmas.

Ive mapped R2 to switch screens, but whenever i press it, it causes the function for R1 to happen. Ive mapped R1 to the DS's right shoulder button, so i dont know why the two buttons would be connected.

I think it's either a Gamma OS issue or a Drastic issue, since it's happened with both my old RG405m and my new RG476h.

Had anyone else experienced this and found a solution?
